Only when he returned to China and drank with a few other overseas Chinese would he have a happy time. However, Zou Da was very filial, because his father told him to head east, so he didn't dare head west.
After the two cleaned up a bit, Zou Da put on a black striped suit and a butterfly tie. Adding his tall and straight stature, everyone in that era would wear either a military uniform or a chinese tunic.
He was a noble prince.
When he arrived at the fraternity house, it was very simple and crude. In the spacious room, there were a few large tables. At the door, there was a red cloth with the words ”Welcome to China” written on it.
Amongst the crowd of middle-aged and green uniformed men, Zou Da's image was very prominent. During this time, several of the English ladies took the initiative to chat with Zou Da.
Zou Da had seen the world before. His English was better than Chinese, it carried a strong London accent, which made those young ladies enjoy it, as if they had found a soulmate in their hometown.
On the surface, they seemed to be talking and laughing, but in his heart, he was very unhappy. However, due to his father's face, he had to endure it.
Just as Zou Da was in a daze, a skinny and frail figure suddenly appeared in front of him. It was a woman with an eastern face, young and beautiful.
She was wearing a woman's suit and it was also a popular zebra stripe, but she wasn't very tall. Even so, it attracted Zou Da's attention.
In his knowledge of overseas Chinese, most of them were men. Even if there were women, they would either look like men or be tragically fat.
The appearance of such a fashionable woman with extraordinary temperament was refreshing for Zou Da.
Zou Da immediately went up to chat with the lady. When he spoke, he discovered that the lady's English was very stiff.
Zou Da was a little surprised. Thinking that she might have not stayed abroad for too long, he used Chinese to chat with her, and only after speaking a few words did he realize that her Chinese was not good either.
Her tone of voice was light, his speech generous, and from time to time, he would feel shy because of what he had said. It was as if Zou Da suddenly found the most important bosom friend in his life.
During this entire period, he had been chatting with this lady, and when they finally left, they had even left a contact number for each other. When they got on the Red Flag car, Zou Da smacked his own head, because they had been chatting for so long, he actually didn't ask for this lady's name!
At that time, there wasn't a phone, and the only communication device was a phone. Telephones could only be found in a very wealthy family like the Zou family, so the phone was often disconnected.
When Zou Da returned home, he hurriedly picked up the phone and dialed the number that was left behind. After a long time, no one listened, which made Zou Da a little disappointed.
< p > The woman couldn't have given him a fake phone number, could she?
And if it was fake, how could he get through?
While Zou Da was troubled by the commotion outside, he quickly went out to check.
Zou Da's family lived in a courtyard house and even invited two old women. After sending him back, his father went to the restaurant to take care of the business.
Zou Da went to the door and looked. It turned out to be two old women and a Old Beggar arguing with each other. This Old Beggar was holding a broken bowl in his hands, inside it were two big white buns, and was sitting at the Zou family's doorstep, unwilling to leave.
Zou Da frowned and asked the beggar why did he not leave?
There was white bread to eat during the Great Leap Forward, which was high level food. Furthermore, it gave two to Old Beggar, which was already considered not bad.
The old beggar looked at Zou Da's greasy face and stood up from the ground. He opened his mouth and spat at Zou Da.
Zou Da thought about the lady who had a refined temperament just now. He was careless for a moment and that phlegm hit right on top of the striped suit, this made Zou Da go crazy with anger.
He brought this clothes back from the United States of America, spent a huge sum of US dollars, flew in a plane, and was normally unwilling to wear it. Now, he actually smeared the Old Beggar's phlegm on it, added with his depressed mood, Zou Da immediately took off his outer robes, and grabbed his arm to teach the beggar a lesson!
