200 Wolf God Form (1/2)

”Mhmm...” Elizabeth's eyes squinted in annoyance as fighting a human at the Transcendental Foundation Stage was proving to be more of a pain than she originally bargained. As her opponent was using Earthen True Qi, her defense top-class; precisely the last thing Elizabeth needed to deal with at the moment.

Moreover, along with her insufferable defense, combat on the ground was even more of a pain as spikes, poles, and all sorts of other constructs would extend therefrom to give the Spirit Realm expert help. From the lack of incantations being spoken, however, Elizabeth waged her enemy probably transcended the Mortal Realm as a Martial Practitioner instead of a Mage. Thus she at the very least felt glad things couldn't get much worse.

Still, fighting against an opponent while having to tank or evade the environment itself was too much to ask for considering she wasn't even in the Saint Stage. Thus, Elizabeth chose to transform into her Infantile Wolf God form for the first time in a battle. She had already experimented with the transformation during her days of cultivation along with her party in the Shadow Realm. But never had she used the form's deadly bloodline ability against another as it was too dangerous.

Now, however, she was going against a Spirit Realm expert that aimed to kill and more than likely steal from her. An expert that had a defense so great that her 6th Chaos Seal's activation along with a full out assault with her saber, myriad of auxiliary abilities, and spells, barely put a dent into her armor before it restored itself. Thus, with physical attacks being obsolete, she had to aim to damage her opponent's soul.

”Fuckin' hell man, what's with these kids?! Aside from that one boy, they're all supposed to be Kings, right?” One of the Spirit Realm expert's subordinates couldn't help but voice his frustration as he clashed against Sun who was being backed up by Jane.

”According to my probes, that'd be right...” The man's comrade also spoke in a depressed tone as Tristan put up an even fight against him despite there being a difference of four phases in their cultivation bases. Liam's existence spelled additional trouble as he would periodically send supporting attacks that would either scare his opponent or bring about mild injuries; always ending up as a dangerously close call.

”Hmph! The nerve of these people!” Sun said as he caught onto an opportunity to block his opponent's sword with the backside of his gauntlet. His free hand moved in to deliver a ruthless punch which only turned all the more devastating as it was infused with the limit of his controllable Space and Fire Qi.

If Elizabeth was present to witness the sheer potency of the yellow flames and partial reverberations courtesy of his Fire and Space Qi respectively she'd have to admit she was outclassed. As for the poor soul on the receiving end of this all-out attack, his armor nearly disintegrated at the point of impact as his body flew like a kite whose string had been cut.

Sun didn't know whether or not the man would be able to fight back or even get back up, but he didn't take his chances against someone a whole Stage of cultivation ahead of him. Without hesitation, he followed his downed opponent and made sure he'd stay neutralized. By taking a page from Elizabeth's book of doing things, he pulled out a pill, shot it into the downed Saint's mouth and then triggered an acupoint to force the man to swallow; thereafter rendering the man paralyzed for the foreseeable future.

Turning to his right, he found Tristan hefting what looked to be the corpse of his opponent, bringing it towards his direction. A moment later, the same corpse was tossed beside his partner and revealed to have only had his ability to move sealed away by a talisman of sorts. Jane only took a couple of seconds to encase both men's bodies in her most structurally sound ice before drawing up a formation to prevent any mishaps.

Just as she was finishing up, her hand couldn't help but tremble as a horrifyingly bleak screech and surge of True Qi in the immediate vicinity more than tripled. Quickly finishing up drawing the last line to complete her formation, she turned to face Elizabeth along with the rest of the party only to grow as pale-faced as the others shortly after.

”A filthy demihuman?” Elizabeth's Spirit Realm enemy questioned; the derision in her voice hard to ignore. ”No, I would have noticed much earlier if that were the case… A transformation?” She suddenly gasped as she looked at Elizabeth as if she herself were the treasure she was after and with increased fervor she lashed out on the offensive.

”Bad move...” Elizabeth commented as she threw a most devastating kick to her opponent's midsection after blocking her sword. The physical potency of this kick alone was enough to blast the woman away several meters, yet it was the underlying soul attack that did any meaningful damage as it disrupted her ability to maintain her Earthen Qi if only for a split second.

Alas, that split second was all Elizabeth needed to draw out her pistols and lay waste to her opponent's vulnerable body. Elizabeth's Marigold aimed for her enemy's extremities, launching triple round bursts along the Spirit Realm expert's limbs while her Magnolia's slug rounds completely eviscerated her enemy's internal organs; punching out large holes along her intestinal tract, liver, lung, and even part of her heart.

Sadly, since people in the Spirit Realm possessed a body fit for proper cultivation and had embarked on that path, killing them became a ridiculous endeavor. Even with all the damage the woman sustained, both to her body and soul, it wasn't enough to end the battle as she could still move about; and move about she did…

Upon gaining the ability to defend herself after the pain of having her soul struck dissipated, the woman didn't hesitate to pull out a black pill and eat it. Instantly, her wounds began to stop leaking blood and close up as the woman screamed in what had to be the most pain she had felt throughout her life. She hatefully glared at Elizabeth before gripping her sword with enough force to split the skin on her knuckles and with tangible malice, she went on the offensive once again.

'Great, now she's sticking to long-range combat,' Elizabeth thought to herself as she dodged and shattered the earthen construct one after the other as they spawned all around her. 'My time limit's coming up as well...' She lamented.
