7 The human slave (1/2)
As I exited out of the shop I noticed I had a new notification from the system.
\u003cCongratulations on completing the quest [Learn one magic formation] and have been awarded the subclass [Apprentice Wizard]\u003e
[Apprentice Wizard]
A subclass that grants its user access to magic. Increases intelligence and wisdom growth by +1 per level. This total is not included stat bonuses gained from other classes.
I sighed as I saw this, at least the spell had served this purpose. In my heart I still longed for the [Poison Ball], but I knew that with the situation I was in that it was not the ideal choice. Venom had never truly been an option to begin with, as my strength and hp were garbage. It would do me no good. Even with a sneak attack 6% of their life would not bring about any results. Even if it had the biggest bang for your buck of you took into account its duration.
A plan had already started to form in my mind as I entered stealth and began to walk away from the Library room. In my menu I had already pulled up the map function.
The map worked much like it would in a game. and actually gave a see through map in the bottom left of my vision. It was slightly distracting, but certainly helped me with navigation. I noticed that it also displayed The creatures that were within a certain distance of me. The only creatures here were goblins, and they showed up as yellow on the small map.
My stealth had leveled up enough that these low leveled goblins would not notice me as long as I moved carefully. Unless they were particularly looking for hidden intruders. I had tested this on previous occasions. as long as I did not draw attention to myself my movements would go unnoticed.
With nothing else to distract me for the time being my objective was to explore the base of the goblins. I still did not know much about this place, other than the library and my improvised bathroom.
Speaking of, I had overheard some goblin guards speaking the other day about a ghost that would dedicate in the captain's bed. The Thought was scary, who would go so far as to provoke the leader of the goblins? They must have a death wish. I pity that creature when they are eventually found out.
But that is not my problem, for now I am looking to explore the tunnels, and hopefully find the exit.
I spent a total of around 3 hours walking around every corner of the tunnel I could find. I did find the exit, and it appeared to be guarded by two rather observant goblins. I did not dare get to close as I worried they would notice me.
