1 Reincarnated (1/2)

My story begins as any other does. When a man and a woman love each other very much... Well that actually was not the case. My birth was the result of an ”accident”. My mother was forced to drop out of highschool at the age of 16 to take care of me. She tried her best, and there was many potential fathers along the way, but more often than not the type of guy she attracted would not be earning boyfriend of the year anytime soon.

My story both begins and ends at the age of 16. I had a high fever and was forced to stay home from school. My mother's current boyfriend, an alcoholic by the name of Steve was staying at home with me, though this was just an excuse to get drunk.

Nature called, as it always does, but I was too weak to get out of bed, my body was soaked in sweat, and my vision was rather blurry. I tried to call for him, but my throat was so dry that no sound came out. Inevitably my bowels and bladder were forced to empty as I laid in my own filth. I felt nothing but relief as my eyes closed and my mind went black.

This is how I, James Frank died. At the tender age of 16 I died the embarrassing death of shitting myself to death. I never had a girlfriend, did poorly in school, and had no natural talent whatsoever. My only accomplishment was that I was talented in reading, my one true escape from this world as my mother could not afford a game system.

When I opened my eyes again I found myself in a damp room with a heavy earth smell. There was also the smell of shit and body odor.

A screen appeared before me, which for some reason I had no problem reading. The type that I had heard of in several system books.
