In the royal garden, Cerulean Empire.
When Bluestacks was in the process of fornication in the royal garden with the head of the royal guards, no less, a rushing subject of his came and shouted, just before they were about to take their clothes off,
”Your majesty! A grave, grave news from the scouting legion! We need your presence at once!” the fair-looking sprite said, worry and fear suffused in his voice.
Upon hearing this, both Bluestacks and the head of the royal guards immediately stopped, began dressing up and fixing their clothes, and the former began to walk towards the royal court, with the head of the royal guards accompanying him. This was another good trait of Bluestacks CLV; he knew his responsibilities and never lets his desires and needs and wants to affect the kingdom.
Whoever he sleeps with doesn't get any bonuses, any promotion on rank; it was merely a way to enjoy one another. I guess all they can brag is that they have slept with the emperor of their empire, but if they said that outside the empire they would be instantly killed and marked as a persona non gratia by the Cerulean empire, and be hunted to kill.
”Tell me the situation, Darris.” Bluestacks commanded the sprite, Darris, to tell him exactly what happened.
”Your Majesty, approximately 1 hour ago, the scouting fleet C-11111, the one that was looking for planets to terraform and exoplanets that were unowned, discovered a large, large signal of elemental fluctuations approximately 2,350 light-years from their position. The elemental fluctuation had damaged some of their sensors and weapons, but the ships managed to hold on tight, no one dying or severely injured in the process.
When they attempted to locate the fluctuation, there was a diameter of ”broken space” ranging up to 2 light-years being mended by the ordered system. Not only that, nothing was present in that area. No stars, planets, comets, meteorites, nebulas, or anything of any sort.”
Hearing this, Bluestacks frowned, and as they reached the royal court, he sat down the throne and began the discussion.
”Hello, my royal subjects. Darris has mentioned that something had been discovered by one of our scouting fleets. Can the head of the science and magic research division explain what the situation the scouting fleet had discovered?”
A man in a white cloak stood up and bowed at his majesty.
”Your majesty, according to the information, photographs and the satellites we have deployed, this was the situation:
An elemental fluctuation, yes, a single elemental fluctuation, led to the collapse of the ordered system in the area, causing every element, every matter, to return to the pure, unadulterated nomological force. Nothing would have survived in the place, not even space or time elements, according to Jazmine, one of our space-time cultivators, who had personally teleported and surveyed the area after.
According to our measuring tools, there was a concentrated form of Order and Chaos elements at the epicenter of the area, but the time we got there, there was nothing there, not even a spatial fluctuation or elemental fluctuation. Even Jazmine was stumped since she had thought she was the one with the highest comprehension in the empire's space-time cultivators.”
”My working hypothesis is that this was done by a spell on the level of Order and Chaos elements. We couldn't analyze much of the remaining traces because they were rapidly absorbed by the ordered system which began its repair process. Moreover, it is possible that a person with primary elements of space-time done had caused this.”
This put Bluestacks in too deep thought. Currently, he had 2 options concerning the matter.
The first option is to spend numerous resources to finance a patrol scanning system, whether it be automated or manned, to find for the same elemental fluctuation signals. This would allow them to make the range of search smaller and smaller for every detected elemental fluctuation, allowing them to triangulate the location and extract the target.
The second option is not to do anything, but just deploy several drones to patrol the areas around the empire's borders, hopefully, lucky enough to meet the same elemental signatures and immediately deploy their troops and one of their space-time cultivators to the scene. This involved a lot of luck but was more focused on reserving the energy and resources of the empire, since the universe is quite, quite big.
Upon meeting the target, they have 2 options: integration or cooperation of the said cultivator into the empire. Usually, they can't do the 3rd option, annihilation, towards space-time cultivators, since they have a nifty ability to reverse space-time over and over again, as long as they receive a fatal injury. According to Jazmine's experience, she was able to choose how far back in time she would return. In her case, it was up to 2 months in the past. Although they have an option of sending the cultivator out of the universe, they can easily come back in if they are a native of the universe.
Bluestacks CLV nodded at the man in a white cloak, before saying,
”Well done, Varius. you may return to your position.” Upon hearing this, Varius bowed, and turned and returned to his seat. Although he had slept with the emperor more than once, it wasn't something he could use to gain benefits. He had reached his own position based on his personal ability and creativity, not because he slept his way through the management.
Bluestacks looked at the royal subjects, before telling them his proposed ideas. After speaking them out, he asked,
”Do you see any flaws or problems with the two proposed plans? If there aren't any, I plan to announce my decision.”
For a moment, the royal subjects in the court were talking with one another, trying to look for problems relating to the plans. Bluestacks wasn't turning this court into a democracy, but rather a shared discussion. If he hears a better plan than what he had established, he would easily modify his own to accommodate the change.
Although they had better quantum supercomputers, even having non-biological data lifeforms serving the empire, they don't tend to consult them unless there are no better options; this is because Data lifeforms, albeit sentient, are very, very, very rational. As long as the plan proceeds with the parameters met, it would not hesitate to create a plan that involves a multitude of lives of sentient beings being sacrificed to reach the goal.
After a few minutes of discussion, one of the ministers spoke, stating his idea.
”Your majesty, these 2 plans do not involve cooperating with other empires, correct?”
”That's right.” Bluestacks had carried the pride of his previous predecessors had, where the empire had stood tall and strong for the past 100 million years. They were never the ones that were helped by other empires, but the ones that offered help... for the right price. The only moment they decided to cooperate freely with the other empires was the crisis of the Zerg empire, which was eradicated more than 30 million years ago.
”Then if I may suggest, we ”hire” other empires in the far-flung areas of the universe, giving them the specific elemental fluctuations they needed to look out for, and reward them with technology that they require, a technology that may be outdated already for the empire?”
”That's good, but how do we ensure their full cooperation then? You should know as a God-level cultivator, binding contracts, no matter what element you use, have little effect on God cultivators like us. That's why I had proposed the 2nd idea.” When he saw the minister and the others wear puzzled looks, he laughed a bit.
”Didn't you realize? The being that did this did so near our empire, roughly 20,000 light-years away from the nearest planet. It means, this being belonged to someone who was unaffiliated with the empires because once one had elevated to the rank of a universal empire, they would recognize the borders and areas of other empires around them or known empires in far-flung distances to the Universal Empire Council. It was either a coincidence that the being chose this location to cast the spell, or because... it was far away from its origin planet, kingdom, empire, whatever.”
”I have a supplementing hypothesis to what Varius had proposed: This being cast the spell in the area to dispose of something. If we can find someone proficient in Karma, one that can explore the Life Essence Ocean dimension, or the Universal Life Essence dimension freely or with the help of the space-time cultivators, and look for the remnants of karmic threads surrounding the area, and trace it back discreetly, we would find out the identity. However, by doing this, we are declaring negative intentions, which is not our point.” Upon hearing this, something clicked in the minds of the ministers.
It would make sense of the cultivator's actions if he wasn't even aware there were certain areas, although unowned, were ”property” of the nearest and strongest empire. It would also make sense if the target teleported the opponent it was facing.
”Most likely, the target is experiencing some issues, like being targeted by ancient clan or power, and needs to have a large spatial distance to ensure no rescue or interference can occur. If that's the case, he would pop up again in our vicinity.” Bluestacks concluded, causing the ministers and his royal subjects to be at awe at their emperor's thinking skills.
”So, therefore, as Emperor of Cerulean empire, I declare the military, magic and science researchers, as well as the space-time cultivators in the country to create the system to ensure a speedy, accurate detection of the suspected cultivator within 20,000 light-years outside of the empire's borders.”
”At your will!” Everyone shouted, their hands clasped on their chests, looking with fervent faces at their emperor, who, on the other hand, acted all serious and calm.
In truth, he was already thinking how he should ”prepare” for his dessert later after the meeting...

Eteria, on a mysterious island, in the seaside villa.
A mature, well-dressed man was silently twirling his wineglass, containing an 800-year old wine.
The moment that Xander had cast [Twilight Sonata], the man stilled his right-hand swirling, before causing it to shatter and disintegrate along with the contents.
”Oh. It seems he died.” The man said nonchalantly as if he wasn't shocked or surprised at the situation. Since the capture of his subordinate, there were only 2 ways it can go: returned as a spy or killed.
He tried to use his Life-Death elements, attempting to stir the powers of the ordered system to resurrect Aziz, but rather than get a positive response, there was an intense shockwave that came through, destroying most of the room he was staying in, damaging a part of the villa. The man, on the other hand, coughed out blood, before using Life elements to restore his health and damaged body. However, it wasn't instantaneous, but rather 100 times slower than before. He sighed.
”It seems the universe was quite impacted by the battle.” he murmured. The reason why he said this was he had attempted to resurrect Aziz from his merged domain and partial life essence in the universe, but it failed, as it seemed that it never existed.
Meaning, the one Aziz fought completely severed everything about Aziz, and at the point of his death, even his domain and partial life essence were affected as well. The only reason he could remember Aziz was due to two things: the parasite he had planted was in his body which was a special lifeform that merged a small piece of his lifeform to the subordinate parasitized being, and him being in the Sage class. He was quite close to achieving God class and needed a few more tens of millennia to breakthrough.
He had planned to absorb the target's comprehension/mastery or ability gained from the god that transmigrated them if the target was truly a fellow transmigrator. It seems he was wrong, and he just had a strong backer. What a pity.
After all, he wouldn't believe that a Master class magician can win against a Demigod in a fight.
He called for his butler to return immediately.
