Everything was going well for Country Y as they kept flourishing and growing in monetary power and political power: they were completely independent.

Yet the thing that propelled this place to its highest peak was its military force which allowed them to control the population as well as kidnapping slaves around the world.

After many years of happiness where the leaders of the Black Empire rules with justice and fairness, some malicious people reappeared.

The descendants of the previous tyrants who were spared formed a new force to take back what was ' rightfully ' theirs.

Helped by Bo Jiang's own family including his uncles and his cousins, the descendants rebelled against him. This plan has been in preparations for years and even though Bo Jiang took precautions he was still dethroned and was forced to flee.

That's how he somehow ended up in China where he first met Ying Yue.

A few days after he fled, his most trusted confidants got in contact with him and explained to him the situation in the Black Empire.

The summary of the whole situation was that he couldn't go back to the kingdom for a long while as the new rulers believed he was dead and that it will be disadvantageous for him to immediately go back when he barely managed to survive.

His loyal subordinates then promised him to get back what was rightfully his by staying there and collecting information, forming a new plan.

As for Bo Jiang, he could only retreat in China while waiting for information.

Fortunately, he was picked up by Ying Yue who gave him food, a place to sleep and a job.

After three years, he managed the company Starlight to reach its peak while at the same time creating his own force in China.

And now, it was time for him to execute his plans.
