48 I Am Coming For You... (2/2)

” What happened today? She came out unscathed in the fight and won, right? ” Jun Feng asked.

Mina gave a low laugh and her voice turned icy, ” If you think that these are the only matters she cares about then you are so wrong. Moon may look cheerful and happy from outside but she is probably the most complicated person I ever met. If you can only look at her as a child with only the mafia as her problem then again, you are wrong. ”

Jun Feng's body immediately turned rigid as he heard those words: he didn't want to admit it but there was some truth in it.

” You may think that you guys are very close because she has been obedient and open to you these few days but that's just how she is... She is a flower that blooms quickly so you can see her wonderful petals but she fanes even faster, closing herself before you can contemplate her more. ” Mina sighed in her heart.

Mina thought back about how sometimes she would find Ying Yue staring at the sky with such a complicated and tragic look in her eyes that always make her wonder what Moon went through to look at the world with such sadness, admiration, disgust and contempt at the same time.

Mina observed the man's expression and gave him one more info about Ying Yue, ” Moon will never be tamed. Presently, she is only restrained by chains of her duties, family and friends. However, I am sure that if she could, she would have made herself a pair of wings to fly to the sky and gain the liberty she always sought after. Her mind always wanders and when you get to know her more deeply, you will discover that she is unattainable. Just like her name, the moon looks so close, yet so far. You can only look at her back as she runs towards all the liberty she wishes for. ”

Jun Feng's fist clenched till they became white as he couldn't refute any of her words: he knew...he knew that something was off about her...that he could keep her restrained only for a certain amount of time before she completely flies away and leaves him alone...

He knew that she could just become a passing breeze in his life as the girl kept moving forward, always walking faster than her peers...

Jun Feng didn't know why he held such a strong attachment to Ying Yue but he was determined to keep staying by her side.

” ...Thank you. ” Jun Feng lowered his eyelashes as he thought about how he knew nothing about Ying Yue.

” It's nothing. I only understood this much after years and years of knowing her. ” Mina showed a slight smile.

” Years...” Jun Feng pondered about the time it would take him to get closer than her.

He knew that them getting closer to each other these few days were not all false feelings but that he was barely brushing the surface of the endless information pit on Ying Yue.

” However, I think that Ying Yue has a soft spot for you so it might not take that long...” Mina encouraged.

”Hmm...I hope. ” Jen Feng released his fist.

” Based on what I know, she should be somewhere outside the city where she owns a villa. I don't know exactly where it is as she likes to keep this part of her life private but I'll send you the closest coordinates.” Mina informed Jun Feng.

” Thank you very much. ” Jun Feng felt a bit relieved.

” You are welcome, I wish you the best in talking with the real her. ” Mina supported him.

Finally, Jun Feng came out of the headquarters and instantly drove by himself to the coordinates he was given.

” Just wait a bit, I'm coming for you...”
