“It’s about national affairs, you don’t have to know the details.” Xiao Chen said coldly, his face getting much paler. “Stay with me, you’re not going anywhere.”

“What?” Jing Yue looked at Xiao Chen. He frowned and closed his eyes, seemingly very tired; but his hand still held her tight, which made Jing Yue frown. She had no choice but to sit beside him. ‘You’ve got hurt because of me; I can endure this,’ thought Jing Yue to herself.

Xiao Chen sank into a deep sleep, while Jing Yue was also yawning. Finally, she couldn’t withstand the sleepiness and fell asleep at the edge of the bed. However, she didn’t sleep well this night. In her dream, Xiao Chen and Helian Xiu showed up alternatively.

“Hmm…”Jing Yue opened her eyes in befuddlement, realizing both her arms were numb.

“Oh… I can’t feel my hands…”Jing Yue moved her arms; and immediately a burst of tingling spread, which made Jing Yue unconsciously twist her face.

“Hello!” Xiao Chen squinted at her, while she was swinging her arms.

“It’s your fault for holding my hand all night so that I didn’t sleep well,” said Jing Yue with her sad, crinkled eyes.

“…”Xiao Chen looked down at his hand which still held hers tight.

Jing Yue looked at Xiao Chen’s vacant look, and suddenly veins throbbed fiercely in her temples. It seemed that he forgot what had happened last night.

‘Oh my god, it’s really annoying!’

Xiao Chen was injured. This was a big thing to all the people in the Mansion.

Jing Yue was ordered by Xiao Chen to stay close with him. And this was so bad to her. Besides, she and Yin Qiao had to take care of Xiao Chen, since there was no other girl available in this Mansion currently!

“Can’t you eat it by yourself? You haven’t hurt your hands!” complained Jing Yue, holding a bowl of hot porridge beside Xiao Chen.
