Jing Yue glanced over the things that had been packed into the trunk then added a bag of silver inside before she finally nodded her head in satisfaction. Nowadays, bribing ought to be useful, maybe this money could be used in emergency. Jing Yue stroke her chin, she went through her room once again to make sure there was nothing she had forgotten to take.

“Right!” Jing Yue clapped her hands, having thought about something.

“Xing Er!” Jing Yue turned around and shouted towards the door.

Xing Er turned around and gave Jing Yue a slight bow before asking, “What command does Huang Fei have?”

“Go and ask Xiao Chen if he has any convenient weapon, like a short sword or a dagger or some other kind. I want to bring one to protect myself.” Jing Yue said while staring at Xing Er.

Xing Er was a bit dumbfounded when he heard Jing Yue’s words. He looked at Jing Yue for a moment before answering with a ‘yes’ and a bow then leaving the room.

“Aiyaya… Tomorrow I’m going to the prison…” Jing Yue said.

When Yin Qiao heard her words while she was tidying up the clothes Jing Yue had messed up, she said with a frown, “Huang Fei, it’s ‘going to school’ not prison.”

“…… Is there any difference? Both are confining people…” Jing Yue mumbled. She took off her shoes, climbed onto the bed and lay comfortably, ready to sleep. Yin Qiao left after she finished tidying up everything.

In her muddle-headed sleeping state, Jing Yue seemed to hear movements beside her.

Jing Yue felt unhappy and turned her body over to continue her sleep. However, she felt that something was coming near her. A pair of hands held up her head and placed it on top of something hard. Feeling uncomfortable, Jing Yue opened her misty eyes.

What came into her sight was Xiao Chen’s handsome face that seemed to carry a bit of exhaustion.

“Xiao Chen, it’s you…” Jing Yue’s voice was filled with weariness. She directly closed her eyes again after mumbling those words.
