Chapter 1926 - The Fairy House’s People Are Here (9) (2/2)
Sure enough, Bai Xiachen’s eyes finally lit up as he donned a brilliant smile: “Okay, when Father returns, we will resolve all the issues with those enemies. Afterward, I want to stay at the Holy Land for awhile before returning here.”
Bai Yan smiled lightly and spoke in a soft cooing voice: “Then let’s hurry back to the Demon Realm. Maybe your father is already waiting for us at home.”
“Mmm.” The steambun nodded obediently as he snuggled intimately into Bai Yan’s arms. Her bodily scent alone was enough to make him particularly relaxed so this was his comfort zone. “Truth is, anywhere you are Mother is where my home is….”
Bai Yan’s heart trembled without a noticeable trace, but her eyes were already swelling with a thin layer of fluid. She couldn’t deny being emotionally moved by that last comment.
Before I knew it, he’s already up to my waist in height. He’s grown so much…..
“Mistress.” Just as Bai Yan lets go of her boy, Hua Luo and Fang Yu Feng also rushed over from the crowd and stood in obedience to the demon queen.
“After I went back yesterday, I have selected a group of excellent talents to leave with us today.” Hua Luo the loyal female subordinate charmingly reports. True to her name, she has a smile like a flower.
“Also, that Mu Qing Song of the Music Valley I mentioned yesterday, she’s died last night….”
Mu Qing Song’s dead?
Bai Yan’s expression was indifferent to the name: “I understand. Since you’ve both brought the people you want then we will depart now.”
Mu Qing Song’s death was of no importance to the demon queen. That woman was no more than a blip in her life, hardly worthy to even remember the lady’s name if not for her subordinate bringing it back up again. Strangely enough though, why would that person suddenly die after her visit?
“Grandmother, Grandfather,” Bai Yan slowly turned around and looked at the gathered members of the Lan House behind themselves, “Big Cousin, Second Cousin, Xiaoyun, I’m leaving now. All of you must take care of yourselves until we meet again…. I don’t know when that will be, but that day won’t be too far off.”
