Chapter 58 - Not Only Controlling Zombies (2/2)

If he continued to go on like this, he would be a burden to Ye Lian and Xia Na and it was unacceptable to rely on their protection.

Ling Mo could feel that he had room for further development, and the battle today completely warned him.

It wasn’t enough to rely on his ability to control zombies alone. He had to learn how to expand his potential! Other than controlling zombies, shouldn’t he use his ability to improve his actual combat skills?

“There is nothing to be afraid of! Compared to those survivors with nothing, at least I have something to fight on. My motivation is more than just the will to survive!”

Normal survivors had no other paths to pick other than joining campuses like the one Wang Ling was in and seek help from a collective group. She was now a zombie but she was a stupid and kind girl.

The majority of people who had survived probably lost their prior purpose in life in this dangerous and scary environment. The purpose of their life was to continue to live on.

Ling Mo was different. Because he had a more important goal, he was courageous enough to venture into a dangerous place like this, and he had more reasons to continue risking his life for it.

He pondered as he clenched his teeth and pessed on his shoulder, he couldn’t help but exhale sharply.

“Sss… I’m lucky it’s not my bones… Xia Na, give me a hand.”

Ling Mo took out a cube of cream from his pocket. It was a pain relief cream he got from a chemist on the way here.

A cube of normal cream that was barely worth ten yuan was an unpurchasable luxury. After all, it wasn’t easy to stay unharmed fighting in a crowd of zombies every day. Small wounds on their body were usually ignored but wounds on hands and feet could be fatal to them. Right now, Ling Mo could barely lift his hand up let alone fight.

But when Ling Mo passed the tube to Xia Na, he smiled bitterly.

Perhaps it was because Xia Na was just attacked and sent into the air. Her eyes were still red from the difficult battle. Although Xia Na could understand him as a zombie, if he asked her to rub the cream on when she’s still in an aggressive state…

Ling Mo swallowed after glancing at her murderous eyes staring at him and silently turned to Ye Lian.

Although he had to control her to do it, at least Ye Lian was helping him with it…

Ling Mo’s body twitched from the pain and managed to pull through when Ye Lian rubbed the cream on his shoulders with ice cold hands. When Ling Mo put his clothes back on, his forehead was filled with sweat.

Even with the cream, it would take a few days to heal. It was already extremely extravagant to have medicine. The rest was all up to his own healing.

If he was a zombie, this type of wound won’t affect him at all and it would soon recover…

And a mutated zombie like Xia Na didn’t receive too much damage despite being hit into the air.

After Ling Mo caught his breath, he took out a plastic bag and took over the gel part from Ye Lian’s hands. It was the gel part from an advanced level zombie.

They could see that it was much different from the other gel parts despite being placed in the plastic. It was much smaller than the others and it was completely red without any other colors. Looking closely, it was like a piece of sparkling and translucent ruby. Although he loathed that zombie, he couldn’t deny how magnificent this gel part was!

The longer Ling Mo looked at it, the harder it was to look away from it…

How would anybody know if he didn’t say that they got this from a zombie’s brain?
