Ten minutes passed.

Ling Mo didn’t know if he was actually infected or it was just a figment of his imagination. He thought that his blood was boiling and his heart was about to jump out from his throat. However, he was still strangely clear-minded and nothing changed besides this.

Ling Mo was thinking of all the plans he could possibly have. He didn’t know if he would become something like Lu Xin or turn into a real zombie.

He didn’t want to give up even at the last moment. Now, he finally experienced how Xia Na felt when the despair slowly took over her.

However, Ling Mo didn’t regret it at all! If he didn’t let his desire out, perhaps he would have been a mad man already! The extreme freshness and desire that washed over him physically and psychologically could easily make someone insane.

And now… At least he solved the problem of his first kiss before he turned into a zombie. And it was with Ye Lian!

Should he eat some of the gels first like Xia Na? Or a more straightforward method would be to drink some blood from a zombie…

Perhaps he would be able to keep the tiniest ration like Xia Na…

As Ling Mo wondered, he shifted his attention to the plastic he threw to the side. There were some remains of the gel parts but there wasn’t much.

Even though he had been spending his days with zombies, he was still greatly pressured to eat something like this when he was still sane.

But it was dug out from the brains of mutated zombies… A tiny bit of it was much more infectious than a piece from normal zombies.

Between turning into a zombie completely and keeping the smallest amount of rational thoughts, the scale in Ling Mo’s heart began to lean towards the second option. He frowned as he stretched his hands out, picking up the plastic bag slowly.

When he lifted the bag to his eyes, a pungent smell immediately shot out of the bag and Ling Mo’s head stung. However, he was more happy than angry as his mind lightened up a little. Since he was still disgusted by it, it meant that he hadn’t started the transformation process yet.

The smell was so bad that Ling Mo thought that he would vomit everything he ate as soon as he opened his mouth before he actually started the changing process. He decided to wait. As soon as the process started, he would eat these as having some hope was better than completely giving up…

Bang bang bang.

His heart seemed to beat next to his ears. He felt like an exhausted, drunk person.

Twenty minutes… Should be happening soon. Xia Na took about twenty minutes to start changing.

Ling Mo sighed silently and clenched the plastic bag in his hands nervously. Eat it if there’s the slightest change! Fighting is better than waiting for death!

Although he survived the apocalypse for a while now, he didn’t want to die at all. But now that he faced the danger himself, he didn’t lack the courage to face it.

The most important was that he spent so many nights with zombies and the fear for zombies wasn’t deep in his bones.

Becoming a zombie was to kill the rational thoughts of a normal person, changing them into slaughtering machines. Although it was more horrifying than death, it was better than telling him to die immediately.

The wait lasted for an hour.
