Chapter 17 (2/2)

The place that was only a hundred meters away from Ling Mo was densely packed with zombies in a brief moment!

As the third phone rang, the direction of the music wasn’t amongst the zombies, but it was at the hospital’s front door!

When Ling Mo controlled the other two zombies, he also made the third zombie go to the front door of the hospital and pressed the play button the moment the second phone was destroyed.

A large wave of zombies charged towards the hospital all of a sudden and the magnificent sight made Ling Mo tremble as he watched through the third zombie’s perspective.

These zombies were different from those in the movies; they were fast and fierce. It was extremely shocking to watch such a large wave of zombies charging at him!

But when Ling Mo saw that the crowd of zombies began to move, he immediately made the third zombie sprint into the hospital.

There were many zombies in the hospital as well. Although the third zombie hopped from left to right under Ling Mo’s control, it was blocked by other zombies in the outpatient service hall.

Perhaps it was different for living humans to experience what it felt like being chased by hundreds of people, and they for sure won’t know how it felt to see countless hands reaching out towards them, not to mention the feeling of watching themselves getting torn into pieces. But in order to buy as much time as possible, Ling Mo had to bear it.

It was a little fortune out of the misfortunes that zombies couldn’t feel pain…

During the process, the phone in its hands almost fell out numerous times but Ling Mo utilised his power to the max and bought them quite a few minutes by switching controlled targets!

A few minutes were short, however, when he was stuck with hundreds of zombies, it was enough for him to be torn into pieces by more than a hundred zombies.

To Ling Mo, it was an extreme challenge to his power of consciousness and reaction speed.

As for Xia Na and the others, they froze in the wind in the moment when the “divine tune(2)” started to play.

“Isn’t he looking for death?!” Xia Na clenched her teeth angrily. She grabbed her sword and dashed out of the building they were hiding in before the others had a chance to stop her.

But when she saw what happened on the street, she was astonished.

She had only seen hundreds of zombies rushing towards one direction when the disaster initially broke out and had since then rarely seen such things… It was hard to imagine that this was man-made!

Momentarily, Xia Na was surprised and happy, but she was also worried!

But right now wasn’t the time to worry … She slashed a few zombies that were attracted to the sound backhandedly and immediately ran back upstairs, “It’s time, let’s go!”

“This fast?”

“Can we really cross?”

“Shut up, he’s risking his life to do this for us, hurry up!”

However, the street wasn’t empty because of it. Instead, it lured out other zombies who were hiding in the shadows. Ling Mo eventually lured a majority of zombies into the hospital and avoided attracting more hidden zombies as much as possible.

Although the street wasn’t entirely safe, it was much easier to cross compared to before.

Xia Na dashed onto the street with others but there was no sight of Ling Mo, she only noticed that the majority of zombies had dashed into the hospital.

Did Ling Mo and Ye Lian go into the hospital? Isn’t he looking for death?

Xia Na stomped in panic but she couldn’t leave the others behind. When she was deciding what to do, she saw a sweating Ling Mo sprinting out of an alley with an expressionless Ye Lian.

“Go! Hurry! I’m at my limit!”

As soon as Ling Mo finished his words, a tremendous loud bang sounded from the hospital’s direction and countless glass shards fell down from the second floor along with more than ten zombies. At the same time, the hospital’s front door wholly shattered. Some zombies immediately noticed Xia Na and the others and charged at them.

“Go!”

Xia Na didn’t have time to ask further and even without her urging, these people would run for their lives.

If they were dragged behind, they would get caught up in the desperate situation of being surrounded by hundreds of zombies!
