The goat people in the audience were in shock. They were out performed by a human and an elf.

Carn baa-laughed, breaking the awkward silence. ”So the prophesy came true!”

Princess turned to face the satyr. ”Prophesy?”

”The great Arglwydd y Ddawns gave us a prophesy that there would be visitors who are superior worshipers then even us. He said that these visitors would make and teach us a brand new ritual. Will the two of you fulfill his grand prophesy and create us a new song and dance worthy enough to praise our god?”

Jericho gave a nod. ”It would be an honor to make a new ritual.” After watching and competing against the satyrs he felt a twinge of inspiration. ”I'll make the third song for my album here, even though it will likely be finished before A Silent Farewell.”

Princess's eyes lit up. ”Will you have a recording of the dance I make with it?”

Jericho gave a nod. ”Of course, this is a sibling project, we need to work together to make it even more awesome.”

Carn smiled. ”We will be grateful to receive this boon.”

[You have accepted the quest.]

Ken sighed. ”Well, it looks like the two of you will be busy for a while. I'll take this opportunity to train with Lux and help out Purai a bit more. I look forward to seeing the end results of your quest.”

Princess smiled at her friend. ”Thank you Ken. Good luck with your training as well.”

”Let us know if you need any help.” Ken and Lux exited the village to train.

The satyrs dispersed leaving only Carn in front of the two performers. ”We know how difficult it can be to create something new. We will go back to our normal lives and won't go out of our way to disturb either of you, but if you need or want anything, come find us.”

”Thank you.” Jericho replied. ”I did have one question. Do you have a place where I can use MC?”

The old goat looked closer at the bard. ”You aren't a human? But you are clearly a human.”

Jericho took a breath. ”I am human but I am also not a human. It is a bit complicated to explain.”

”I see. We do indeed have an MC store. However it might be best to wait until after you have completed our god's request before you explore it.”

”Alright.”

Jericho and princess were left alone.

”So, I think the dance should take advantage of the satyr's unique physical traits.” Princess stated.

”So, you want to create a dance that would be amplified by having hooves, four knees, no ankles, a tail and horns?”

”Well, at least the hooves but if I could find a way to make it better with all of those body parts it would be better.”

”Alright, while that sounds like it will be a bit difficult. I have a basic idea for a melody but knowing the tempo, desired length of each dance cycle, and the time signature will help me give you a better practice song while I refine it.”

Princess started clacking her shoes. ”I would say about this tempo. The satyrs seem to really like the fast paced dance styles and it does seem appropriate.”

Jericho listened to his sister's tapping. ”So about 140 BPM? That would make it a bit faster than most line dances. Are you sure?”

The girl gave a nod. ”Yep. I think that tempo will work best. But we should probably keep it simple by either going 4/4 or 6/8 timing. While they sound cool, your pieces that are in the rare time signatures are harder to dance to. That and we have to somehow teach them how to both play and dance to it.”

”Then let us keep to 4/4, it will be simpler to teach that way; complicated doesn't always mean better. This is meant to be a ritual for them. Something too difficult will only become a frustration instead of something good.”

”Alright, it sounds like we have a good start. So what melody did you feel would be good?”

”I am thinking a mix between oldies rock and country, but having the tune go something like this. Jericho started playing on the panpipes he was borrowing.

The night passed quickly as they started to get a feel for what they were wanting.

They left the game.
