Her appearance was like that of a small bird that was attached to a person. Fang Jin was stunned for a moment. She looked doubtfully at Shen Meng, who was hugging her arm. She could not help but shake her head, but did not say anything else.

It wasn't strange for couples to do this sort of thing as well.

”Me? ”I don't care.” Hearing Fang Jin's words, Shen Meng did not hesitate and immediately said, ”Whatever you eat, I'll eat. I'm not a picky eater.”

Hearing Shen Meng's words, Fang Jin forced a smile and did not say anything more. Ye Zichen shook his head helplessly, then led Shen Meng towards a Chinese restaurant that wasn't too far away.

As the two entered the Chinese restaurant, waiters came to greet them.

”Please take a seat over here.” With a smile on his face, the waiter softly said to Fang Jin and Shen Meng. He then led them to a seat where no one was seated.

”Choose what you want to eat.” Fang Jin took the menu from the waiter and handed it to Shen Meng.

Shen Meng opened the menu and quickly glanced at it. She then said, ”I want to eat this, this and this and this!”

Shen Meng quickly ordered a few dishes and then closed the menu. ”Alright, that's all.”

The waiter nodded his head and wrote down all of the dishes Shen Meng had ordered just now. He then told Fang Jin and Shen Meng to wait a moment, and without any further hesitation, he turned around and left.

The speed at which the dishes were served in this Chinese restaurant was quite fast as well. After a short moment, the fragrant dishes were served by the waiters.

Shen Meng cheered, but didn't show the slightest politeness. She picked up her chopsticks and began to heartily eat.

Seeing this scene, Fang Jin couldn't help but smile, but didn't say anything. As she ate, she asked Shen Meng, ”Shen Meng, where are you from?”

”A local.” Shen Meng replied, not thinking about it at all.

Hearing Shen Meng's words, Fang Jin paused for a moment. He frowned and looked at Shen Meng with a puzzled expression.

”Local? Since you're a local, why are you renting a house outside? ” Fang Jin asked curiously.

”What's so strange about that? I got into a fight with my family.” Shen Meng took a mouthful of the dish and said unclearly.

From the looks of it, Shen Meng did not intend to discuss this matter further. Fang Jin hesitated for a moment, but in the end, he nodded and did not continue asking.

Everyone had their own secrets, and Fang Jin did not intend to find out what the secrets in Shen Meng's heart were. Although they were currently a couple, their relationship was a bit strange. Fang Jin questioned herself, she didn't have the qualifications to investigate Shen Meng's secret.

When she saw this middle-aged man, Shen Meng's face revealed an expression of obvious disgust. Fang Jin naturally saw this scene clearly. He felt a little strange when he saw that Shen Meng was about to stand up and leave.
