While in awe, Nero had taken in everything Micheal had said. He was sure Micheal was far more mature than others his age as well as sociable and entertaining. Michael on the other hand usually smiled and nodded, more of a shy nature person.
While this had happened, the two girls had also run off to tell all their friends of their new discovery.
Micheal once again continued with his info dump. He explained how mana with different intents acted differently and thus, concluding with drawbacks and advantages that came along with different intent.
Volatile intents like the Intent to Damage was useful for forming attacks, but not as effective when defending. Forming a defensive with the Intent to Pacify would yield a greater result but would itself be slower as a projectile attack.
Nero gained much from this yet questions once again arose in his mind, what kind of things would mana with the intent to Dominate bring? Should expose such a secret now that he realised it would greatly differ him from the other magicians, he didn't need to set himself out any more than he already did so he chose to keep it a secret.
Putting up a facade, Nero claimed he used the intent to Fortify which explained to Micheal why the coin that Nero had conjured was so solid well-put, unlike most other beginners who could only bring forth mana as an uncontrolled mess of a haze.
The two continued to chat about various magical subjects and topics, even continuing through the evening meal.
The meal Nero had consisted of Slow-cooked Rank 2 Beast Meat complimented with smooth gravy made from crushed Beast Bones. The dessert was chocolate cake, Nero praised how well it was made considering this was a moving Blimp which couldn't have facilities at the same level as down to ground kitchens.
Nero expected the food to taste like aeroplane food, what was the deal with aeroplane food on Earth? He had once pondered. Thus, his low expectations had been absolutely demolished by the smooth texture and the gooey insides of the cake. The taste was quite possibly the best he'd had since he found himself on Rosaria.
At 8:30 in the evening, Nero said his goodbyes to the duo and went back to his cabin. Now that Nero had to conceal himself, his training was limited. A Slayer's mana sensitivity was countless times better than a Hunter's, Captain Killian would any day feel Adept Mana conjuring near him, so the usual practice was out of the question.
Something like brain cultivation was only effective to Nero when done with Adept Mana, he had already thoroughly fortified the foundation with Basic mana. If Nero were to produce any kind of Adept mana, he would notify the Captain.
Him being a Slayer was a secret nobody could know. Not a soul.
With such a great restriction on him, Nero could only look at the smaller things, for example, consuming more Beast Meat, improving on split mana control, just improving command control of mana overall because its difficulty was incredibly high, even for Nero, and much more.
These were things that Nero thought of improving over time with a small amount of practice every day, but since the situation forced him, he could only put more time into these skills.
