5 Prologue: Impossible 5/5 (2/2)
'Guess I deserve it' He mentally shrugged as he thought about the memories he had replayed, emotional scenes from his past he had gone through from his life before.
Nero's emotional capacity was built upon all the memories his past self had used to develop his emotional state of mind, to keep himself from turning into a baby.
Instead of feeling grief, he felt fulfilled.
He wasn't proud of what he had done in his 'previous' life, as one could call it, but he definitely did not feel broken as his past self had estimated. He embraced all that he had done. It was a part of him now. Those memories felt different from the memories of concepts that he had from the start of his emotional gain.
”I am who I am”
He took in a long and filling breath.
”HELL YEAAAAA!” He screamed out, feeling so full it became hard to breathe.
Suddenly...

| The previous task of visualizing the 4th dimension has been completed, would you like to view it? |
Time passed by...
'Holy moly'
The utter shock had now replaced his previous sense of fulfillment.
'I'm about to look into the next dimension.'
Nero's jaw was covered in drool due to how long his mouth had unconsciously been open.
He was about to break the dimensional boundary.
Gaining his cool, marginally, he started to hypothesise the end result.
'Now the question is, is the string theory right or the 8-sided cube with each side being a 3d cube right?'
Because Nero remembered the concepts, he understood that humans did not have the capability to visualize a higher dimensional object. However, what he did guess was, any sentience unbound by nature should be able to 'imagine' a 4d object.
'Kowalski', as he called the AI, was exactly that. In hopes of a completely new breakthrough, he set the AI a task. To understand conceptually what a 4th-dimensional object would look like. He didn't have any hopes for an answer, seeing as it was built by humans and was a 3D existence. Ultimately, he was proven wrong. For the second time that day, to boot.
'Kowalski, initiate the experience'

Right after hearing the response, Nero experienced colors. But, not those bound by human sight, or any sight for that matter. One could only describe the view as 'Otherworldly'.
Right after the flurry, which was already a sight of its own, the actual mind-bending view had become clear.
Unknown to him, however, the AI's data storage was already full. The alerts from Kowalski, however, never reached Nero's brain. The chip's supposedly vast storage capacity, specifically 300,000 zeta bytes, had already been over-run by the data being transferred from Nero's brain that it had to remove the data of the color flurry Nero had experienced as well as what he was experiencing. If it wasn't for the fact that his memories went through the chip before being properly processed, Nero's brain would have been long fried.
After the literal instant Nero had fully visualized the higher dimension.....
Nero's body disappeared.
No sound, no vacuum in place, nothing.
The world was left still as if he never existed.
