She was mumbling half dead on his shoulders when she got home. He only left her alone for two minutes to wet a cloth for her body and she was gone from where he had last left her. Feeling a headache approaching, he put down the hot water and cloth.

”Wei Na, where did you go?” He roamed through their apartment that had three rooms other than the bathroom. The guest room was empty, and her room was also empty. ”Thank god I locked the door to my balcony before I left this morning.”

He opened the door, turned on the lights, and saw her lying in his pile of clean boxers. She stretched one of his boxers and pulled it on top of her head. When she saw his handsome figure by the door, she happily jumped up from her spot.

”Look! Look! Is this your present for me? I foundddd it! Hehehe” His striped boxers probably looked like wrapping, gift paper to her drunk mind. She spun around a few times with her skirt fluttering as she continued until she was too dizzy to balance.

He caught her just in time before she fell to the floor, ”Careful! Here, let me take my boxers!”

She pouted, ”No! Mine! You gave it to me! You can't take it back. I look pretty in this, don't I?”

A gulp rushed down his throat as he lied to her, ”Yes. It looks perfect on you, but the monkeys missed this beautiful...item on your head. They're crying over it. You love monkeys, don't you? You wouldn't want to make them sad...”

She reluctantly handed him the striped boxer in her possession as another smile showed up, ”Then what about the other ones! There are so many! I wouldn't have to give them all up right?!”

”The fishes in the deep ocean and the rest of the monkey's many generations pre-ordered it.” Another lie slipped out of his mouth confidently, trying to convince her.

She hugged her knees as she watched him stuff away his boxers, leaving none left for her. ”I..I only wanted something simple from you.. why is it that hard? Do you know how many years I've been loving you? Guan, I don't sleep with just anyone whom I take a liking towards. In this case, there is only you. I'm always acting confidently, but when facing you, all of these walls get torn down.”

”You're my worst fear, worst enemy, worst end. If you ever don't ever me anymore, I think this heart will stop beating. But you know it hurts the most when the person whom I love so dearly and gave my whole body to, didn't even bother with wedding planning. I'm not any different than those girls who think of their prince charmings. I, too, have slapped my boyfriend's face on the prince's face and imagined us walking down the aisle.”

She reached out for his palm and held it tightly, ”Under everyone's witness, we'll exchange our vows and promise to accompany each other through life and death. But now, it only feels like I'm the only one wanting this. And that's not what I want.”

Her grip loosened, and she wiped the tears off her face as she forced a bitter smile on her flushed face, ”I only want you to be happy.”

Hearing this, he wrapped his arms tightly around her small body, ”Silly, what are you saying? I've said it before that I only want you. Only you. Nobody else.”
