203 Ism Not Pregnant! (1/2)

After almost a week of staying under Chen Mu's care, Wei Na was finally discharged and could go home to her soft, comfortable bed. Bin Guan was extra cautious around Wei Na because of her recovering wound. Literally every step that she took had his body shielding her from strangers and furniture. His limbs and eyes were always on alert mode in case of running children or her clumsy nature.

She enjoyed his extra caring nags and worries, but also missed the independent fiance from before. They had gotten back to their apartment and just when Wei Na was about to stick her keys into their door knob, Bin Guan suddenly shouted, ”wait!”

His sudden shout startled her with uneasiness, ”W..what's wrong??”

”You stay here.” he breathed a huge sigh before opening the door to their apartment and peeking inside. After that, he closed the door shut tight, and leaned his back against it, ”honey, how about a cup of tea before we go back?”

”Darling, where do you think we will go while carrying my loads of clothes?” She raised her eyebrow with a teasing smile. 'Something fishy is going on.'

He rubbed his chin before slipping his arms around her waist and gently pushing her backwards until she reached the other wall, ”In our car.” He whispered into her ears, sending every strand of her hair on her body to cloud nine.

”But we're already here. Isn't it better to leave everything behind and then go for a cup of tea?” Logically speaking, that would make more sense than to carry everything back downstairs from the sixtieth floor and stuffing everything into the car. Even though they took the elevator up, it was still pretty weird to carry everything back to the parking lot.

”But I want to have our tea time now.” His breath tingled around her ears, slowly brainwashing her thoughts. Her eyes closed midway, but seeing her bags and how unwilling he was in letting her inside, she knew something didn't add up.

”Darling, what's going on? Hmm? Don't tell me that you hid a woman in there, and she's sipping coffee in my pajamas.” She pushed his chest away from her body and crossed her arms.

”Of course not!” A bead of sweat flowed down the side of his sharp jawline.

”Then what's this?” Her fingers wiped the trail of sweat off his face. When she tried to move away to get to the apartment door, his arms trapped her from escaping. She was Kabedonned!

A lovely smile appeared on her face, which could only mean one thing; He is doomed! Recognizing the calmness before a hazardous storm, he gulped, ”H...honey...”

”Uh huhhhhh, so nothing is behind that door to our apartment. That is why you are telling me to go grab a cup of tea with you with my luggage. Don't think that just because I didn't carry any of those bags that I wouldn't know how heavy they were! My eyes are more accurate than a balance scale okay?” she wrapped her arms around his neck while her sharp tongue left him speechless.

”Um...uh....” Not knowing what to talk back, he could only raise his arms to surrender to the mighty queen.”Honey, I... I can...”

Taking advantage of his stuttering moment, she snuck under his raised arms and opened the apartment door. Behind the door was a catastrophic mess that is equivalent to the aftermath of thirty-five children playing a muddy sock tournament.

”So... darling...Thank you for such a wonderful gift...” The corner of her lips tilted upwards. She didn't know whether she wanted to laugh or cry seeing this scene. He facepalmed from behind and nervously hugged her, ”Ahahahaha, honey... please don't dump me. I promise I'll get this mess cleaned in an hour! No, no! Half an hour!”

Even though his socks weren't that dirty since he literally switches into a new pair and throws the old pairs in the wash after wearing it every day, it was amazing how one had the capability to throw their sock all over the floor. His socks were mismatched around the room. Some socks were on the couch, carpet, under the cabinet, on top of the dining table, on the chairs and under their cushions. It's an amazing talent.

”It's quite impressive, though. Look! There are two socks on top of our fan up there! And then there are two more, one behind the television and another in our sink. Hhahahaha, how many pair of socks are there? Geez.” she laughed as she pointed around the whole living room as if she wasn't even a bit surprised that he would be this messy.

”This is why I have you.” He buried his face into her shoulder, embarrassed by the disastrous war of socks that he made during the week that she stayed at the hospital.
