83 Chapter 83- Under the Bed (1/2)

”Huh? The door is locked?” Yang Qiu Rei knocked on the door demanding Gu Wing to open it. After not getting any responses, he called butlers to break open the door. It only took one kick for the butler to loosen the lock and barge into the room. When they entered, there were no traces of anyone ever being in there. The bed was still neat and everything was perfectly in place. Since the pathway to the underground attic was closed, Yang Qiu Rei assumed that Gu Wing already got out and was somewhere else in the house. 'She probably accidentally locked the room form the inside then...but why does something feel out of place here...?'

Everyone turned away and was heading out of the room, when suddenly, Yang Qiu Rei stopped them, ”Wait. There is supposed to be three glasses and a container filled with water. Now, there are two glasses and an empty container. Someone was here. There is still some water stains over here on the floor. Quickly search everywhere in this room and see if anyone is here!”

The butlers searched behind the curtains and inside the closets. ”Master Yang, there is nobody in this room.”

”Impossible! Are you sure you guys searched every corner of this room already?! What about the bed? Underneath it!”

One of the butlers quickly lifted the bed sheets and blankets to look beneath the bed.

”Ah! I got it!!”

”See?! Grab that person and see who it is!” He grinned with a prideful tone.

”No, not a person. I found the cup you were looking for.” The butler held the emptied glass in his hands shakingly as he presented it to Master Yang.

”...Find the maid who is in charge of cleaning and refilling water in this room. Cut her wage for a month for her neglectance. Also, look for madam. When you find her, tell her that I'm looking for her and will be in our bedroom. Dismissed.” He waved his hand and walked back to his room.

The butlers left out a huge sigh after he left.

Butler 1: ”Hah, he wants us to look for Gu Wing? It's 3A.M.”

Butler 2: ”She's always in the house anyways. When she gets tired, she'll have legs and go back to his bed on her own. If he asks, we'll just say we saw her and that she was heading back to his room.”

Butler 1: ”Yeah, they treat us like we're their dogs everyday. A woman like her who acts all cruel and possessive won't dare run off after getting her hands on this rich old man. Who else would marry an old hag like her?”

Butler 2: ”That gold digger will crawl back to his bed herself without our reminder. Let's just go back to bed.” He yawned and stretched while walking out of the room.

Butler 1 followed behind and closed the door.

”Shit! Nana, Yang Qiu Rei is coming!!! We need to find a place to hide, but can't hide in these closets!” Ya Nuo helped Nana up while thinking of a way to hide themselves from him. Nana pointed, ”What about under the bed?”
