Ya Nuo wrapped her arms around his waist and pushed him onto her desk. Her eyes flickered in excitement as a plan popped up in her mind. ”It's their doomsday, but your unlucky day as well. Mister.”
”Hmm?” he smiled awkwardly not knowing what she meant.
She whispered to his ears and loosened her arms at the same time, ”Be good and stay still.”
She knelt down and took out bandages from her bag as she took off his shoe and wrapped his swollen ankle.
”Ssss” he hissed in a low voice when she tightened the knot around his ankle.
”Hmph! You don't even consider your own injury before budging in others' business! I could've handled him, but you insist on doing it even though you have an injured ankle!” Her eyes moistened and voice turned raspy as worriedness filled her heart. She was exposing her feelings and letting him know how bad it feels to see him fighting so hard to avenge her.
His lips curved up after seeing a rare expression, ”mmm, I'll be more careful next time.” He caressed her short wig gently and chuckled.
”Hmph! You're still in the mood to chuckle after this?!!” She purposely tied the knot extra tight to make him feel more pain.
”Ahh!! I'm wrong, my queen. Forgive me. I'm sorry.”
She stood up and wanted to turn around to deal with the three jerks on the floor, but was stopped by two gentle arms wrapping around her tightly. Huan Hei rested his forehead on her back as he whispered, ”I'm sorry for everything. From lounge room, the ridiculous extremely horrible words that came from this stupid mouth of mine, accusations, questions, to making you worry about me. Everything. I'm sorry. I figured it all out. I can finally apologize to you.”
The tears that were flowing in her eyes earlier started to trail down her jawline, ”Idiot.. Took you long enough.”
”Mm.. I'm the biggest idiot in this world. I'm sorry.”
”Hei, let's deal with this mess first and then go home,” her tone was much lighter and gentler than before.
”Okay. What should we do with them though?”
