61 Chapter 61- Do you Trust Me? (2/2)

She turned around and walked towards the exit.

Huan Hei gripped her wrist with hysterical strength, bruising her instantly. Her fingers started to feel numb and palm lost its color.

”Let go” she said without turning her back.

”No! Not until you tell me why.” Huan Hei was losing all sanity and was raising his voice.

Ya Nou was equally raising her voice. ”Xu Huan Hei! This is the first time you've laid your hands on me and I can't believe it is over something like this. Before you question me and ask me for a nonexistent explanation, how about thinking about what I've been saying recently? Do you really think it is just a coincidence for you to drop by and peek through the lounge room? Hmm?”

Huan Hei: ”If you didn't do anything wrong, why are you afraid? You always told me everything and now what are you huh? Avoiding me?”

She felt a lump in her throat blocking her voice. A few seconds felt like several hours. She used all her strength, took a deep breath, closed her eyes to calm her emotions and swallowed her tears, ”Xu Huan Hei, since the beginning, you only knew how to use your eyes to interpret everything. Have you ever once listened to me or had the basic trust for me as your girlfriend? Nothing matters anymore at this point. Not even your opinion. I have nothing to say. So let go.”

She tried to get away from him, but his grip tightened. She continued, ”Even if I tell to you that I didn't do anything, would you believe me?”

He slowly loosened his grip and replied with silence.

It was as if she could hear her heart shatter and pieces of it crushing her soul. This type of pain felt like someone ripped out her flesh and added salt on the fresh wound. After the stinging was over, only more torture was waiting for her. The pain she was feeling came from her pulse. Every time she breathed, she felt an enormous pressure hitting her chest, striking her internally. Through the years of abuse, she never felt this much pain before. Even when she got whipped and thrown around physically, it didn't hurt like this. This was really a burning hell. Unbearable.

Seeing the back of her figure and her hand turning pale, he released her from his grip.

Once he let go, she walked away and never turned back once to look at him. Her back looked lonesome, pained, and wounded.

After turning the corner of the hall, Ya Nuo's legs lost all its strength. She leaned against the wall and continued walking. She massaged her bruised wrist and small drops of liquid covered the dark marks. She didn't dare cry out loud because he was down the hall. Flashbacks of his furious expression and hurtful suspicions filled her head. She already came this far so she wasn't going to destroy her last bit of pride by crying in front of him. Her lips quivered and eyes burned irritably. The edges of her eyes were deep red as more hot streams of salty droplets rolled down her delicate face. When she heard footsteps approaching, she quickly ran out of school. The more she ran, the faster she became. Her physical strength was already at its maximum speed, but she forced herself to go even faster.

When she thought of his cold stare and accusing tone, her heart's immense pain and heat flowed throughout her body. Her tears didn't stop, legs forced to run until it hurt like her heart, and pain never stopped. Everything hurt and the pain was ongoing.
