Chapter 54 (1/2)

She remembered the basic methodology of the top-tier question that was answered the previous day, and she intended to deduce it on her own that day. However, something went wrong and she wasn’t getting anywhere.

The question was so challenging that even she couldn’t have worked it out on her own after reading the answer only once.

She was about to deduce it from the start when she heard Shen Zhe’s remark. She found it hard to believe.

The step I wrote is wrong…

He was the last place in all the school. How could he tell?

Even Zhang Fengyuan, the dean, couldn’t have solved it!

Ignoring her shock, Shen Zhe pointed at a step with a smile. “One step is missing… here!”

Then, he filled the step with a pen.

The answers obtained with the “=” were etched in his head and would never be forgotten. He just didn’t expect that Xiao Yurou would be working on that question so he didn’t recall it right away.

Xiao Yurou was shocked after she saw what Shen Zhe wrote.

It was indeed the place where she was wrong.

However, the detail was subtle and complicated. Even she could’ve barely detected it. How had Shen Zhe located it after a quick glance?

“You know this question?” She couldn’t help but ask.

“This is the answer to the top-tier question in the Gold Source Mall. I happened to see it…” Shen Zhe smiled and waved his hand, “Alright, talk to you soon!”

He pointed out her mistake because he was grateful that she gave him the herb so quickly.

He wasn’t worried about his identity being exposed, because hundreds of people were watching him back then. He could claim that he was one of them.

Xiao Yurou intended to ask more but he had already left.

She continued her verification. With Shen Zhe’s steps, she completed the task very soon.

Looking at the paper, the girl was lost and suspicious. “Is the last place of the Green Abyss Academy this good? Is it possible that other people have been praising my talent because they’re pleasing me, and I’m actually worse than the last place of this school?”

It was a sunny day, without any rain or clouds.

Shen Zhe returned to his dormitory after lunch. Taking out the griddle, the seasonings, and the blood that was extracted from the Blue Fox’s leg, he walked to the refining room.

After finding an empty room, he placed the griddle over the fire and added oil to the griddle.

He then sliced the herbs into pieces to make sure that it was easier for the herbs to be heated and melted.

Zi! Zi! Zi!

The herbs were put into the griddle, and fire rose. Shen Zhe added salt and pepper powder to the mix.

He had the mask, the helmet and the apron prepared, so he wasn’t stained by the grease.

Ten minutes later, a plateful of gold herb liquid was ready. It filled up five and a half bottles.

Shen Zhe was relieved.

He returned to his dormitory and drank one of the bottles. The power of the stars boosted the herb liquid to repair his damaged veins. The veins were recovered soon after.

“This Senior Qi is truly good at medication…”

Shen Zhe secretly nodded, feeling how he was completely fine.

Since he had recovered, he could enjoy lightning strikes again. Shen Zhe looked out the window in great spirits, only to discover that it was dark.

He had spent the whole afternoon refining and training.

It seemed that there would be no rain any time soon.

“Since I have nothing to do now, I’d better see if I can study!”

He could become familiar with a battle technique by boiling a technique book and himself in the same pot. What if he placed his textbooks in the pot?

Could he become a good student without reading any books?

“I need to try it!”

Shen Zhe took out the giant pot and searched for his previous textbooks in his dormitory.

He bathed in the boiling water with the textbooks, only to sense no new knowledge in his head. Shen Zhe was rather frustrated.

“It doesn’t seem to work this way…”

Learning was truly not as simple!

Since he couldn’t learn that way, Shen Zhe decided to study the new symbol on the notebook.

The “||” was lying in his head peacefully.

He pointed his finger at it. Just like the equal sign, the mathematical symbol popped up before his eyes. He circled it with a pencil.

“Absolute handsomeness…”

After he said that in a low voice, the two bars floated and melted into his body.

Crack! Crack!

His muscles and bones emitted dense noises. Shen Zhe sensed that his height had increased by ten centimeters. He approached the mirror and looked at himself, only to be stunned.

The person in the mirror was nothing like himself. He was unbelievably handsome, like the most perfect artwork. His every muscle had been carefully designed without making him too fat or too slim.

Compared to him, Lu Zihan and Cui Xiao were nothing but random guys on the street.

He was too gorgeous!

Just as he had speculated, the notebook could redefine specific phrases and symbols. But of course, the new definition couldn’t deviate too far from the original meaning. They had to be similar.

With complicated feelings, he continued studying the absolute value which could make him handsome, but for no more than one hour!

If he wanted to he could change back to his old self during that hour, but he had to consume the pencil if he wanted to become handsome again.

“What a pity…”

He thought that he could keep his new looks, but it seemed that he was overthinking…

It was true that there was no such thing as free lunch.

“My clothes seem too small now…”
