”Did you hear? The nurse from our infirmary she was brutally bondanged in the infirmary's store room!”
”What really?”
”Yeah her family called the police & yesterdaythey checked the whole university but atleast found her unconscious in the store.”
I heard Samantha & her friend talking in my front desk. She doesn't talk to anymore after what happened to Josh. I don't consider her guilty for it. I wouldn't forgive myself too if I was in her place. Josh is her brother after all.
Still I try now & then to talk to her so that we can become friends again.
”This is for real? When did this happen? ”
”She couldn't remember anything or what happened to her! This happened two days ago,” She said with a scared look in her face.
Two days ago! It was getting hard for to me breath. It's the same day when I went to infirmary with Jake.....So when we were there she was locked in infirmary! Or did it happen after we left!
I didn't see Rex coming to university after that day! Are all this my assumption that this nurse incident is related to Ben somehow...or am I just thinking too much.
”You look worried, You know something?” The girl said and Samantha raised one of her eyebrows. Am I that easy to read damn!
”No no I had no idea something like thishappened...Excuse me please..” I came back to my seat in a hurry. I didn't want them to be suspicious of me or Jake by telling them the truth.
If the nurse was bondanged like that in university the CCTV must have caught somethingright. I should try to check that.
At break time I came to the library to do some studies. But my mind was just full with questions. Can Ben this be childish! Why will he hurt the nurse?
Was it Rex!! Did he become angry at my behaviour and attacked the nurse?
Or did Jake knew we gonna go to the infirmary from before so to get sometime alone time with me he....
No! Gosh! What am I thinking! Why will Jake do something so childish...It's only possible for Ben to do somethingreckless like this. So was it Rex!
”It looks like you just stabbed a person Bells! Lol you Ok? Why are you so worried?”
I heard Jake voice from my behind. I looked backhe was standing just behind my chair.
”Jake heyyy.. I..”
”Oh it's not done like this! Let me show u,” Jake said leaning on my back, making me come between his both hands. I became fully red!I could smell the perfume that he used. It was so different than any other. It smelt like dark coffee yet it was so cool.
He took the pen from my hand and started solvoing the math which was half done.
”It's done this way silly girl!” Though he was teaching me how to do it my focus wasn't there at all. I was only nodding with a red face.
I could already see the girls in our front table whispering about us seeing me like this with Jake. I clearly didn't want this much attention. I quickly grabbed the pen back from him and stood up.
”Thank you so much, Jake. I can do the rest myself. Don't worry!”
”Yeah sure. Just let me know if you need any help in studies. No need to make any weird faces sitting in the library,” He said smiling flowing his charisma which made me blush again.
”Well then see you soon I guess,” Jake said while he was returning back to his class.
”Jake!” I called him from behind.
”Yes Bella? ” He only turned his face to me, meeting our eyes.
”Did you hear about the incident in our infirmary?”
”Yeah why?” He sai with a dead look.
”Do you know what was the attackers motive?” I don't even know why the hell I suddenly asked Jake this question. Because I realised I made a wrong choice by looking at his eyes which looked more darker for a split second.
”No I mean...” I tried to take back my ques that I just asked.
He turned back and came close to me with the same dead look in his eyes.
”Jake I only asked because I was just...” I tried to explain but he stopped me midway by hugging me.
”Did I make you worried again? I promised not to make you but I just can't help it! I just love to see you miserable!” Jake laughed weirdly whispering to my ears!
”Jake...” My throat was dried up.
