47 Alpha (1/2)
”Master, what are you making?” Garrik asked.
Mutyx wiped the sweat off of his forehead. ”Something that can take us ta tha city.”
After about ten minutes, Mutyx finished. Around him lay at least a thousand little pieces of divine mana and some significant parts. ”Finally done.”
Garrik looked at the numerous pieces that lay around his master. ”Master, what do you mean? How are these pieces going to take us to the city?”
Mutyx let out a loud laugh. ”Watch. I haven't assembled it yet.”
Mutyx started grabbing the pieces and started assembling the machine. The machine started coming together. Pieces turned into four legs, then a body appeared, and then two massive wings.
Garrik gasped. ”Master, is this what I think it is?”
Mutyx didn't answer and kept on assembling the machine. It didn't take him long, and Mutyx finished assembling the device. In front of him was a massive mechanical dragon.
Garrik looked at the mechanical dragon with awe. ”Amazing. I'm sure that you're the only one that can make this.”
The mechanical dragon gleamed in the moonlight. Its mechanical body looked like it was made out of gold, but it was made of much valuable material, divine mana. It had deadly sharp teeth in its mouth and equally sharp claws on its legs.
”Ehh, I dinna know aboot that. Right now, probably, but given enough time, someone will be able ta make something like this.” Mutyx still wasn't finished. He made the body, but he wanted it to move by itself, he wanted it to be alive.
Using enchantments, he enchanted the mechanical dragon, giving it an artificial soul. Mutyx also enhanced its body so it could be almost indestructible. Only a god could destroy this dragon.
Of course, Mutyx made a few rules when he created the artificial soul. It would always try to do what's best and protect its master, which would be Mutyx.
To help out the artificial soul, he implemented the necessary knowledge and language of the world. He also made it so the soul would instantly know how to control its new mechanical body.
When Mutyx finished enchanting, the dragon came alive. Its wings started moving, its tail wagging. It moved around, its massive body, leaving footprints on the rocky ground.
”Wou' ye look at that. It worked,” Mutyx said.
The dragon heard Mutyx and turned to look at him. ”A-are you, my master?”

Mutyx nodded. ”Aye, I be. Me name be Nutyx, tha God o' Crafting.” Mutyx pointed at Garrik. ”This here be Garrik, me assistant.”
Garrik waved his hand. ”Hello.”
The dragon looked at Garrik, then back at his master. He lowered his head to the ground to show his thanks and loyalty to his master. ”I am thankful for you creating me. I will serve you forever.”
