Lots of data fell from the top of the screen like a tidal wave to finally form a stat panel:

[Skill Book – Corpse Princess, detected. To learn it, prerequisites: Ancient Heber: LV2, Spirit: [1.4]]!

[Prerequisites met. Will you spend 50XP to learn it?]

Thulhu heard the cold, mechanical voice in his mind.

He recalled this panel. The panel was from the shitty game he had played in his last life, and which he had even died over!

Thulhu didn’t know what to say. The cheat codes in this world had come too late. He felt that the world had become very hard for him to face.

He had some rough guesses, of course. After the mental stimulation, he had regained the memories and finally integrated with this body. From another perspective, perhaps the cheat codes would only emerge after he really became part of this world. There was definitely some kind of connection.

Of course, this book page could also be one of the reasons.

All in all, there were so many mysteries waiting for him to explore.

Corpse Princess? The panel said it was a skill, which meant… extraordinary power did exist. The elder brother of the previous owner of this body, Roald, had decided to give this to Thulhu. But why? Where did this come from? Did having this thing mean that great danger was coming?

Thulhu’s instincts told him that there was something wrong about this!

The elder brother suddenly wrote to him after four years, and a book page on evil black witchcraft was attached to the letter. This was so obviously problematic!

What was more important was that he had no idea where to get XP. Did this mean experience? From what? Killing monsters?

Thulhu was totally lost.

Of course, if this was a game, he could just go to some dangerous cave and carelessly kill all the horrible monsters he saw. However, now that this place had become so real to him, he didn’t want to lose his life for nothing.

At that moment, a stream of cold air flowed through his body from his fingers on the page. The cold air chilled Thulhu.

Then, the numbers on the light screen in front of his eyes started changing: +1, +1, +1…

“This is…!”

Thulhu finally realized: this was the same as in the online game he had played previously. Finishing tasks and beating monsters gave the player experience, and so did reading and practice!

Maybe the panel had just taken in some kind of power from this paper.

Thulhu tested it out seriously. “System! System?!

“Mission?

“Come on, give me some…!

“Shit!”

Finally, Thulhu realized that the character panel was the only thing from the game that had followed him here. These cheat codes weren’t impressive at all!
