Chapter 46 (1/2)

The energy of a cauldron was the aura contained in the cauldron itself. An ordinary person may not notice its presence, but Fang Lin was an Extreme Alchemist that had cultivated the Divine Nine Cauldrons Passage, so he was capable of noticing the energy a cauldron contained naturally.

The main elevation channel of Fang Lin’s Divine Nine Cauldrons Passage was through swallowing the best quality cauldrons. On the other hand, although the act of absorbing cauldron energy was not as effective as swallowing cauldrons directly, it was still capable of elevating the Divine Nine Cauldrons Passage.

Other than the Golden Flame Cauldron, Fang Lin was not in possession of any other cauldrons. Furthermore, the Golden Flame Cauldron was used to refine elixirs, so it could not be swallowed. Even though he was not allowed to swallow the black cauldron before himself, he could still absorb some of its energy,

Anyhow, one should not absorb too much of a cauldron’s energy at one go so that the cauldron could continue to produce a steady flow of energy. Fang Lin had already come up with a plan. Since there was no other quality cauldron for him, he would come here frequently to absorb the cauldron energy.

Fang Lin made a firm decision to proceed with his plan. Instantly, he took a seat next to the black cauldron and began to circulate the Divine Nine Cauldrons Passage in his body.

Wisps of very obscure black aura were unleashed from the black cauldron before transforming into a stream of fine airflow that flowed into Fang Lin’s body through his mouth. The very moment the black aura entered his body, his entire face flushed scarlet and his forehead was covered in sweat as if he had just eaten jalapeno chilies.

A moment later, he stopped. His face was a tidal wave of scarlet while enormous drops of sweat streamed down his face from his forehead. Panting loudly, he appeared to be extremely fatigued, but his eyes were glowing brightly in excitement.

I’m still adapting to the process of absorbing cauldron energy for the first time. However, the cauldron energy is genuinely quite beneficial for me. I think that I can attempt to break through to the level-6 primordial man realm after absorbing it for half a month.

Just as Fang Lin was about to continue the absorption, a violent knocking was heard coming from the door all of a sudden.

“Hey, you inside, come out now!” A bold yet rampant voice was heard on the other side of the door.

Fang Lin frowned ever so slightly. He closed his eyes and disregarded it. Anyhow, this place was guarded by an array, so the person outside would be deranged if he were to attempt to come in by force.

The knocking continued ceaselessly.

Bang, bang, bang!

It was agitating, but Fang Lin had his eyes closed and his attention was focused on absorbing the cauldron energy like he was an old meditating monk as if he was completely oblivious to the agitating knocking noises.

Outside the alchemy room, a chubby youth with a stormy expression rapped his strong, thick arm and continuously knocked on the alchemy room door.

The person by his side was Kang Lu who looked as if he was anticipating something.

He was the one who called the chubby youth, a medium-grade disciple named Yuan Bo. He always occupied alchemy room number nine of the Yellow Building. The rest of the disciples were aware that Yuan Bo loved to use this alchemy room, so they dared not fight him for it.

Despite being a medium-grade disciple, Yuan Bo was famous for being a shameless, unreasonable slacker that relied on his muscles to bully others. In addition to that, his father was an elder of the alchemy sect. As a result, not many people in the sect had the courage to offend him.

Even though he was just a medium-grade disciple, many of the high-grade disciples refused to oppose him.

Once upon a time, a low-grade disciple with an exaggerated opinion of his abilities seized the opportunity to occupy alchemy room number nine when Yuan Bo was not around. As a result, he was severely injured after coming out of the room and almost died.

On the other hand, Yuan Bo’s action went unpunished because of his father’s presence. He was only grounded for a short period of time as a mild penalty. After completing his sentence, he continued to be the rampant bully that he was before.

Yuan Bo never expected his alchemy room to be occupied by someone else when he joined his friends to have a meal outside for a short while.

“How is that permissible? How dare someone actually have the audacity to take my alchemy room? How can I not turn this person inside out?”

Yuan Bo was an aggressive person, so he jogged over and began smashing the door in an attempt to vent the pent up anger in his chest. To his fury, the person inside the room did not give the slightest response. Yuan Bo’s expression turned more and more unpleasant. Does this little vermin have any respect for me?

“B*st*rd, come out now. Otherwise, I’m gonna take that sorry *ss life of yours!” Yuan Bo roared in rage before he pounded the door twice again. His hand was already hurting from pounding too hard.
