”There's a high chance that Percy is still alive. The fact that the Horsemen of Conquest sparred me, can only mean one thing. He was only recently unsealed and has yet to regain his former power. Something tells me that he may have captured Percy due to him being a reincarnator...”
Stunned at Great Mage Mirlie's words, Nora spoke out, ”What does him being a reincarnator have anything to do with him being captured by the Horseman of Conquest?!”
Surprised by Nora's outlash, Sev decided to attempt to calm Nora, ”It's the only real anomaly. If not for that one factor, he is rather average. His family rather obscure, his talent mediocre, what else could it possibly be?”
”What do you... well.... uuhh!! We need to find him!” forgoing the honorifics, Nora calmed herself and spoke, ”Mirlie, you've had a past with these undead. How do we find them?”
”Nora, I know you're upset but you shouldn't call me Mirlie...” the second she spoke those words, Lucius and Sev knew she royally messed up. Sev had come to know Mirlie's temperament, this wasn't good...
”I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOUR SILLY HONORIFICS!!!” the anger she had suppressed now raged, lashing out towards Mirlie, her having to constantly call her by her Great Mage title already annoyed her. Now that the stakes were serious, she didn't want to hold back.
Nora lunged forward, slamming her fist into Mirlie's face. The unrelenting force pushing her far into the air. Only to find leniency as she rolled down the adjacent staircase.
”Now... Let me ask you again, how do we find them!” in her rage, Nora subconsciously called upon and infused all her affinities into her self, amplifying her image, a myriad of absolute colours radiated around Nora, each and every colour raging alongside their master's will.
As Mirlie rolled down the entire length of the staircase, she glimpsed at the awe-inspiring sight of Nora. Calling upon every fibre in her body, Nora slowly walked down the staircase after Mirlie.
The sight of the approaching monstrous anomaly, she cowered in her skin. The colour in her face draining as Nora made each deliberate step.
Her heart racing, panicked, and scared, she tried to speak but found it nigh impossible. As she looked at Nora, she could see the faint outlines of four dragons, staring at their prey.
Using every once of her will, she finally managed to mumble out a few words, ”I don't know! I don't know!!!” her desperate cries barely reaching Nora's ears.
Realizing her actions, Nora reeled at her actions. Something was off, rage consumed her. She had lost control of her body and instinctually acted. She looked at herself and then at the crying Mirlie, 'What have I done...'
