60 An-An! Are You Hurt? (2/2)

Yang Tian-Xu doesn't want to deal with the rumours. Still, the scandal had reached Grandfather Yang's ear. There is no way Yang Tian-Xu can avoid it, and hope that perhaps everything will disappear on its own.

”No. Ye-Ye. Miss Lee is not my girlfriend.”

”If she is not your girlfriend then why won't you consider Yue-Yan?”

”Grandfather, I already told you I-”

A loud screeching sound had interrupted him, followed by a loud crash; sounds of shattered glass followed after the loud crashing sound. Suddenly, a scream was heard from the stage.

Immediately as Yang Tian-Xu rushed back to the stage, he saw a devastating scene. It seems that a stage-lamp had fallen from high up the ceiling. The loud noise was from the glasses of the light bulb shattered onto the floor.

The broken stage-lamp have bits of the shards shatter all over the ground. The small shards cut Wang Yi-An's legs, and they quickly began to bleed. Next to her was Lee Yin-Yin, who was unharmed.

The two girls sat on the ground, and Lee Yin-Yin was an arm's length away from the accident. Still, she was nearby. The fallen lamp was closer to Wang Yi-An. What on earth had happened?

Just as everyone else who had witnessed the event, the staffs and crew members crowded Lee Yin-Yin. They surrounded and inquired about her injuries, which she had none.

Nevertheless, Wang Yi-An's leg was the only injured one. The blood was dripping out of her wounds. The glass shards had shattered, and the velocity of the impact of the drop had lunged the broken pieces of the glasses into her left leg.

Usually, Wang Yi-An would wear long dress pants. However, the weather for today was incredibly hot for her. Wang Yi-An thought that it would be better to wear shorts. How could short pants be able to cover her legs? The shards of glass had injured both of her legs, with the left side in the worst condition.

The moment when Yang Tian-Xu saw her as she remains on the ground surrounded by broken glass. Yang Tian-Xu thought that his heart would stop. He quickly rushes his way through the crowd to get to her.

All of the staff were surprised. At first, everyone thought that the person that Yang Tian-Xu was so worried about would be Lee Yin-Yin. However, he did not even bother to look at her.

Nor did he even bother to mention her name. The only words that came out of Yang Tian-Xu's mouth were, ”An-An! Are you hurt?”

When he sprinted over to her side, everyone was shocked, and they all share the same thought. ”An-An?”

The expression on Yang Tian-Xu's face was filled with concern and worries, he looked at her injured leg and saw all the shards remains stuck inside of her cuts. Yang Tian-Xu felted heartbroken and felt like he was useless as he couldn't even protect the woman he loves.
