”Hello, President Yang. I brought some coffee and snacks to treat everyone. Here's your share.” She said as she handed him the coffee and a piece of doughnut. Yang Tian-Xu didn't take it and left her hands up in the air.

”It's okay. You can have it.” Yang Tian-Xu didn't bother taking it.

As she places the coffee and snack down on the table for him, she walked closer to him. ”But I brought them to you. Take it as a thank you.” Lee Yin-Yin wanted to place her hands around his arms. How could she when he avoided her effortlessly. He made it feels like she has some illness that is contagious and he needed to get away from her.

”A thank you? For what?” Yang Tian-Xu said as he remained a considerable distance from her.

Lee Yin-Yin won't push it after seeing his reactions and told him.”You know, for standing up for me when your grandfather wanted to fire me.”

”Oh… That's nothing. It was the right thing to do. You don't have to thank me for that.” He replied to her casually, it wasn't a big deal for him. At the time, he felt as if he doesn't make it clear, Grandfather Yang could still be dead set on having Tong Yue-Yan as his future wife.

”But I want to. Thank you.” Lee Yin-Yin held her hands together and starts to fidget with them. She was nervous, and it was apparent.

”Wait!” Lee Yin-Yin voice was loud, and it made him stop.

He turned around and asked her, ”Can I help you?”

”No, I…” She wanted to ask him about the rumours. Is it true that he likes her? However, to ask a question like that had made her shy.

Still, she wanted to know why he would defend her. The typical reason, because it was the right thing to do. Was not a good enough reason for Lee Yin-Yin. What she wanted to know was if he has any feelings for her.

Lee Yin-Yin had mustered up all of her courage to finally ask him. ”Is it true? The real reason why you help me was that you like me? If you liked me. I want to know.”

”What? Oh, hell no. I don't like you.” Yang Tian-Xu was blunt about his answer. ”I have someone else I like.”

”You mean Tong Yue-Yan?” Lee Yin-Yin wasn't so happy when he told her that he has someone else he likes. Her first reaction was to find out who this person is, and hopes that it is not the spoiled rich-brat, Tong Yue-Yan.

”No, it's someone else.” He replied to her openly. He smiled as he thought about Wang Yi-An.

”May I ask who it is?” Lee Yin-Yin was dying to know, just who is it that can be better than her and that bratty-heiress Tong Yue-Yan?
