53 I Am Restless Without You. (1/2)

Wang Yi-An was a bit confused by her mother's words. However, she only thought that her mother was just worried that she'd get bullied at work. ”Don't worry mom. My boss is a decent man. He treats his employees really well!” She said as she gave her mother a sweet innocent smile.

The table they were sitting at was small, it only fits the two of them, and they sat across from each other. Mother Wang and Wang Yi-An each have their red-tray of food that they had ordered, and Mother Wang likes to have rice for lunch. Wang Yi-An prefers stir-fry noodles.

Mother Wang can only sigh as she told her, ”He's only nice for now.” And then, Mother Wang held her hands and said, ”Remember you can't always trust people. Remember the idiom; You can see a person's face, but not their hearts.”

”Yes, Mommy! If I start ever get mistreated at Yang Corps, I'll find another company to work at, Okay? It's only for a couple of months anyway, and I'll be fine.” Wang Yi-An tried to reassure her mother's worried, as she gave her a big warm smile. And then she continued to eat the stir-fry noodles that she had ordered from a fast-food stall.

Mother Wang forced out a smile as she sighed, ”You must like working at Yang Corps.”

Wang Yi-An paused and stopped eating for a second and asked, ”Would you rather I work for Pan Holdings?”

”I didn't say that!” Mother Wang let out an honest smile, the smiled filled with concern and sincerity, ”You work wherever you feel happier, okay?”

”HM!” Wang Yi-An nodded and smiled at her.

”Okay,” Mother Wang patted her daughter's hair and points to her food. ”Hurry up and eat.”

”I have a two-hour lunch! Lots of time! We can go shopping later!” Wang Yi-An chirped as she continues to eat, Mother Wang would sometimes take some food off of her plates and gave Wang Yi-An some. Wang Yi-An is happiest when she's with her mother.

They would laugh and talk and enjoyed their time together as mother and daughter. Later, when it was time for Wang Yi-An to get back to work, she would kiss her mother on the cheek like a little child. Then, Mother Wang would hug her once more, and leave the Yang Corps building.

In the Manager's Office, Yang Tian-Xu sat down impatiently as he waited for Wang Yi-An to return. He doesn't eat anything all day. However, he does not feel hungry. He looked everywhere for Wang Yi-An and her mother the entire lunch-break.

Yang Corps was just too big, and he felt depressed when he couldn't find them. He spent two hours searching for her. However, it was time he needs to return to the office. Yang Tian-Xu was becoming more and more impatient as he sits, pace around, and he even tries to focus on his work. How could he? The only thing he wants was to see Wang Yi-An.

Finally, Wang Yi-An had returned. She waved to her other co-workers and greeted them. The moment when he heard someone called her name, he bolted out. He was like a watch-dog that waited for her to return. Yang Tian-Xu rushed outside and saw her just as she approaches the desk.
