49 Thats Good. (2/2)
It took no longer than ten steps to the elevator, and Yang Tian-Xu pushes the button up at first. ”Um. President. I need to go down.”
”Oh! Right, sorry, what was I thinking?” Then Yang Tian-Xu finally presses the button to go down. There was two elevator shaft. One going up, and the other going down. The one going down has another greeter. However, the person has already gone on a lunch break.
The moment the elevator door opens up, he grabbed her by the arm and pulled her inside, he had his hands on her shoulder, ”It's here, let's go!” Then as she got inside, he quickly presses the button for the door to close.
”Wait! Boss, I didn't-!” Assistant Tseng was only a couple of steps behind them. The door closes before he could even get inside.
Wang Yi-An was shocked as she heard and saw Assistant Tseng as he tried to reach out for the closing doors. ”President Yang, Assistant Tseng haven't gotten in yet.” She said as she decided to press the button to reopen the door.
Nevertheless, Tian-Xu stopped her hand, and told her. ”It's okay. He might have something else he needs to do. He can take the next ride down later.”
”Okay…” Then she distanced herself from him. Of course, Yang Tian-Xu won't try to push his luck and remain an appropriate amount of space between him and her.
There was only Yang Tian-Xu, and Wang Yi-An left in the elevator, alone. Yang Tian-Xu could just only pray that the elevator would break down. This way he would be able to be alone with her for longer.
Every single second that it took for the elevator to go down a level lower. Yang Tian-Xu could only dream of having a power outage. These few precious seconds he spent with Wang Yi-An alone felt like the heaven had finally shown pity on him.
Yang Tian-Xu wanted to ask her a question before the elevator reaches its designated floor at the ground level. ”Do you have any special plans for lunch today?” He asked her finally. However the trip was short, perhaps too short. The doors opened up, and she stepped out. Of course Yang Tian-Xu followed out as well. Then she turned to look at him with a bright smile. ”Yes! My mother and I are going to have lunch together today!”
”That's good.” Yang Tian-Xu forces out a smile on his face, and can only hope that one day. He will be able to meet her mother as well. They walked pass the security, and Wang Yi-An had scanned her card. While Yang Tian-Xu is the president, of course he doesn't need to scan anything, and the security would just let them in to the lobby area.
Yang Corps has tight security. The building is incredibly vast, when employees' family or friends are visiting, they would need to go to the reception desk first.
Mother Wang came to pick up Wang Yi-An for lunch, she wanted to surprise her daughter, so she arrived early, however, she was delayed by a certain someone that had clearly frustrated her, and she was indeed still angry. She wanted to tell her daughter that she was almost hit by a rich and obnoxious boy today.
How could Mother Wang imagine that the man who had caused her to be so angry today, was walking side by side with her precious daughter, Wang Yi-An.
