46 Say What?! (1/2)
Assistant Tseng felt nervous as he was sweating all over when he answered the chairman's call. ”YES, SIR!” He shouted.
Grandfather Yang knew how much pressure he has on a mere assistant, so he didn't waste any time and went straight to the point. ”Tell me what happens between Tong Yue-Yan and the singer Lee Yin-Yin. I want to know everything.”
Assistant Tseng was nervous. However, he still told Grandfather Yang everything he could about that day. He reported to Grandfather Yang as he would inform a business contract.
Nevertheless, Assistant Tseng left out one crucial detail, and that detail was that when the two girls were fighting, Yang Tian-Xu had completely ignored them, and left with Wang Yi-An.
Of course, Grandfather Yang was a sharp man. He asked Assistant Tseng in an authoritative tone. ”Where was he at the time?”
”Ah… There was an important matter to take care of at the company, and the president had to return! Sir!” Assistant Tseng lied, and he can feel the cold sweat dripping down his forehead as he held on to the phone as he shakes.
Assistant Tseng was already in the Yang Corps building, he was in his office at the time, and with the air condition on high. However, he was still sweating from the nervousness.
Assistant Tseng had been working for Yang Tian-Xu for a long time. Assistant Tseng is a smart man, and he knows that Yang Tian-Xu will become the future chairman of Yang Corps, however, will it be wise for him to lie to the current chairman? He can only take a gamble and hope that he had stepped foot in the right boat.
”Where is he now?” Grandfather Yang asked as he takes Assistant Tseng's word for it.
Nevertheless, how could Assistant Tseng know the where about of President Yang? He had yet to see the president this morning. He was not in his office, nor was he in the manager's office on the seventh floor.
Assistant Tseng thought that perhaps President Yang had something important to do, which sometimes he would do before he shows up at the office. Although Assistant Tseng has no idea where President Yang is, he would make an excuse and said, ”President Yang is currently in a business meeting with Mr Jin. Sir!”
Even though, Assistant Tseng knows that lying to the chairman might come back to bite him later, however, the one he chose to maintain his loyalty to is still President Yang.
Grandfather Yang didn't ask anymore and decided to hang up finally, but before he did, he reminded Assistant Tseng. ”Tell him to call me when he is out of his meeting.”
”Yes, sir!” He exclaimed as he waited for Grandfather Yang to hang up the phone first. Later, he wiped the sweats off of his forehead. Assistant Tseng quickly calls President Yang to warn him about the upcoming trouble President Yang might face later on.
The time passed by quickly, Wang Yi-An had cooked them some hangover ginger soup and left them on the counter before she went. Yang Tian-Xu looked over at the two bowls of hot ginger soup and took one in his hands. He enjoyed a sip of it, and immediately he felt all tingly inside, and so he let out a silly smile.
Yang Tian-Xu never really like ginger. However, he had finished drinking all of Wang Yi-An's ginger soup. Yang Tian-Xu didn't even bother saving the other bowl for Jin Qi-Long for when he does wake up.
Fung Qi-Wei could only laugh at Yang Tian-Xu's immaturity. ”You're not going to save that for your friend?” He asked as he watches Yang Tian-Xu drinking both bowls.
