”Eh? We're going to pick up girls at the beach? Is there time for that?”

Mark questions, puzzlingly. He knows that there is only about an hour and a half left before having to meet up with the rest of the group at the theatre.

The drive there from the hospital will take about 15 minutes.

But the beach is in the opposite direction.

”Don't worry. It won't take long. I know some good pick-up lines.”

You assure your friend as you head out of the hospital.

With your ability, picking up complete strangers shouldn't be too difficult, especially with the dating simulator guiding you.

However, it did feel like you are looking for virgins to sacrifice to a demon. A demon known as Michael Bay.

There is plenty of rumours about him back in your previous world. They are not groundless rumours.

This is because where there is smoke, there must be fire.

You shrug at the thought.

It isn't like you are sending anyone to him to be eaten.

You are simply greasing the wheel of fate.

Trampling over others is unavoidable in your road to success. Your rise will be someone's downfall, so thinking too much on it will be pointless.

You have better thing to do with your time and energy.

While heading out of the hospital, you are very mindful of the two numbers that are above everyone's head.

The first number only appears for women. This is due to your special request. You are not interest in conquering men sexually.

The second number below the first appears for everyone.

It shows the remaining lifespan of a person.

More correctly, it shows their remaining lifeforce.

There is difference between lifeforce and lifespan.

You realize this once you calculated everyone's numbers, finding out that everyone will get to live to the ripe old age of 80 to 90 years. This shouldn't be possible, considering some patients in the hospital are practically at death's door.

With the increased intelligence, your mind connects the dots easily.

The number above their head indicates the years they would have lived, not the years they will get to live.

Even if everyone can theoretically live to 80, 90 or even 100 years, it is not feasible due to disease and other things.

Some people might even get to live longer than that.

Heck, didn't Adam and Noah in the bible live over 900 years? Perhaps they never got sick or suffer any kind of illness. Did that mean that these number represents something else?

The System constantly talks about lifeforce instead of lifespan.

This probably means that the number hovering above their head is their remaining lifeforce, not their lifespan.

Wait a second! Is everything in the bible even real?

The universe isn't created in seven days!

Wait! The System did acknowledge your request to become biblical God, so that mean God did exists!

Wait!

Wait!

”Hey. Hey! What are you thinking?”

Mark asks, snapping you out of it.

You realize you have just frozen up for a bit, standing there in the corridor like a mental patient.

It seems that your mind questions everything endlessly, to the point of contradicting itself if it is not completely focus on something.

This is what it meant to have higher intelligence.

You sweat a little, empathizing with what Celine must live with.

Celine has 14 points in Intelligence. An impressive level when the average person is about 9 to 10. Just one of point can make a world of difference.

For comparison, Mark has 8.7 points in Intelligence, and he isn't a stupid person at all. If he was, you wouldn't be friend with him.

You just don't like hanging around with idiots since you cannot rely on them for anything.

”I'm fine. Just thinking about something, many things. Anyway, let's get out of here quickly. Hospital gives me the creep.”

Mark agrees and chases after you, heading to the carpark to look for your car.

You find it easily since Celine didn't park it very far from the entrance.

At your car, Mark stares unblinkingly at the backseat alongside with you.
