44 Saving My Wife! (1/2)

There was an angry looking Nathan standing where the door used to be, He stared at the cuffs around Shola's wrist and the temperature in the room instantly dropped

With a gun in his hand, he walked up to Shola

”Are you ok?, Did she hurt you?”

”What took you so long?” Shola said angrily, although deep down she was happy and relieved.

”I got stuck in traffic” Nathan said jokingly.

He then turned to look at Elizabeth, his eyes turned cold she could help but shiver

He had never looked at her like that before.....she needed to find a way, a way to get out of this mess

”N...Nathan this isn't what it looks like”

”Did I ask you speak?” Nathan said as he stretched out his hand to her ”The key to the cuffs”

Elizabeth felt goosbumps all over her body, she shakily handed over the key to him.

This wasn't what she wanted, she stared around for a while and took the first thing she saw to hit his head.

The glass vase broke into pieces, leaving Shola shocked

Nathan felt the blood dripping from his head but he acted like he felt nothing

He had actually gone through worse.

Elizabeth stared at him in shock, ”How...” She was puzzled

She was sure that the vase was supposed to knock him out cold!

Nathan opened the cuffs and rubbed Shola's wrist gently ”Does it hurt?”

”Nathan you.....you're bleeding” Shola said with a shaky voice, he was bleeding so much yet he was asking her about her wrist

”It's okay, let's go home” His vision was getting blurry but he wouldn't succumb till he got her out of here!

”As for you....I'll deal with you later” he said to Elizabeth as he helped Shola to stand.

After leaving the house Nathan sat in the car exhausted, he had lost too much blood

”Nathan let me drive!” Shola said as she exchanged seats with him, she wanted to leave this place as soon as possible and get to the hospital.

She was too frightened by Nathan's injury. Nathan closed his eyes enduring the pain, he didn't think Elizabeth would hurt him as well

'I guess our friendship isn't as good as I thought'

He checked his watch, it has been an hour already.

The police should be there by now, there was no longer anything to worry about....

”Nathan?....Nathan!” Shola panicked when she didn't get an answer, she drove faster and soon made it to the nearest hospital.

Nathan was immediately taken to the emergency room.

Shola was scared, he was in this state because of her.

After a few hours, Nathan was finally stable but he hadn't woken up

When Shola was allowed to see him she was scared, she didn't want him to die because of her.

She would never forgive herself, after asking Weiwei to babysit Ella she finally went in.

She couldn't sleep through the out the whole night, even though the doctors said he was fine

he hadn't woken up yet, she was too worried to fall asleep.
