”Ella?, how.....how did you get here?” Shola stared at her daughter, her eyes were glistening with tears
”don't hurt mommy” she said as she started sobbing, Shola panicked and tried to break Jasmine's grip
”Let me go my daughter is crying”
Jasmine sneered and stared at her
”I already warned you to stop bringing your kid here”
Shola rolled her eyes, the woman was beginning to think highly of her self
”Ella what is it?, why are you crying?” Nathan asked as he squatted her and held her shoulders
”She is hurting mommy ” Ella said as she pointed towards Jasmine.
It was then Nathan noticed Sholana, he stared at her wrist that was already turning purple and the other employees that just stood there doing nothing
”Mr Lu! , I'm sorry about the elevator” Henry was busy apologizing when he saw how frightening Nathan's expression was he quickly stopped talking.
He followed his line of sight and noticed that Jasmine was yet again bullying another employee.
But the only problem was that, even though this was normal the new boss was definitely going to think bad of this branch and the way they treat their their employees.
”Mommy!” The little girl cried once again and ran towards Shola, she kicked Jasmine on her shin making her lose her grip on Shola's wrist.
”Ah!, Why you little.....” Jasmine grabbed the girls arm trying to squeeze it

Jasmine felt a stinging pain on her cheek, she raised her head to look t the person that slapped her
”Mr.....Mr Harry?”
Harry shoulders were trembling, he realised that the person Jasmine was bullying was the mother of Nathan's daughter and the worst part was that she actually tried to attack his daughter as well!
”Mr Lu.....Mrs Lu, I am truly sorry for Jasmine's behaviour. I promise I will give her the right punishment for this
please just try to forgive her, she is.....my wife!”
Nathan acted like he didn't hear the words of Harry and walked up to Shola.
He held her hand and observed her bruised wrist that was already swollen
”Are you okay?. Does is still hurt?”
Sholana couldn't help but shiver as his fingers brushed her skin.
She had missed his touch, she missed his care and protection. She felt like she was back to four years ago
A smile appeared on her lips ”I'm fine, I'm ok”
Nathan turned around to stare at Jasmine and Harry coldly, ”I think I will reconsider my decision ”
He didn't leave any more words for them as he took Shola and Ella out of the building.
Jenner offered to drive while Nathan seats at the back with Shola and Ella, Shola was in the middle feeling pressured.
Ella was busy blowing on her wrists while making angry remarks while Nathan was just silent not saying a word.
”I sorry if I caused you guys inconvenience ” Shola apologized while rubbing Ella's head to calm her down.
Nathan balled his hand into fists and looked at Shola.
”Inconvenience? , why would you work at a place like that?
she almost hurt your hand and you're apologizing?.
Why were you so careless Sholana. You should have thought about yourself and not the pay.
And besides if you were in need of money you should have contacted me a long time ago.!”
Nathan's voice wasn't low and even Jenner could feel his anger from the driver's seat
Shola laughed, she was angry, after everything he did add he dares......” You were the one who divorces me so why are you so worried about me?, why are you meddling?, you are no longer part of my life anyways so I don't need your lectures!”
Shola glared at Nathan,
He stared at her not knowing what to say anymore.
yes, he was the person that divorced her.
He was the person that ended their relationship, what right did he have?...

Nathan took a deep breath, he was scared of what her reaction would be for his next words.
