Xi Sheng planned to stay at a trunk and observed the situation. However, things got worse so her plan wasn't followed.
A little girl is protected by a maid while being surrounded by a bunch of robbers.
The other soldiers are already dead, and their horses are seized.
”How dare you do this! Don't you know who we are?!” Although scared, the maid screamed with a shivering voice.
”Haha!”
”Playing strong? How feisty!”
The other thieves laugh maniacally.
The little girl in the maid's embraced glared at the bandits. There are tears on her eyes, so her insult wasn't of any use.
”My father will punish you all! If you dare lay your filthy hands on us, you will receive great punishment!”
The faces of the bandits were no longer happy but were adorned with mockery.
”How funny,” said by a thief who stepped forward. His eyes contain irony and resentment.
”You nobles rob us of commoners. You all knew that the incoming winter would be hard this year, yet you all still increase the tax. What would we eat when our rations are sent to your bellies?! We would die! But all of you didn't care!”
The little girl was startled by the man's appearance. There was a big and deep cut across his face.
”You're scared? When I begged not to take our remaining food, what did you all do? You tried to beat us with your weapons and stole our harvested food! Just because we are nameless, do you think you could do that?”
The bandit's eyes are getting heavier and heavier, the surrounding thieves are also getting gloomy.
