When her senses became clearer, Xi Sheng was surprised.

I just closed my eyes for a bit, how come it became like this?!

Xi Lan attained bruises and injuries, and his clothes are almost damaged. He sat pitifully on the ground while raising the cub.

The innocent cub pitifully whined:”Awoooo...awooo...”

Her hand formed a dagger-like stance directed at the cub's face.

Hiss!

A tingling pain was felt into her neck. There  are about three Sol Keepers pointing their  spears towards her, two of them already made a graze. They formed a posture of protecting Xi Lan.

Xi Lan: ”Retreat!”

The three Sol Keepers look with each other.

”But Young Master! This feral tried to hurt  you!”

Fe...ral?

Xi Sheng retreated her hands and supported her head. Uncontrollable rage was forming again. Painful wails surrounded her hearing. Another bloodshed replayed in her mind, but it quickly disappeared.

Xi Lan was aided by the Sol Keepers, he reprimanded them for their insolence. The three Sol Keepers accepted their fault and were about to ask for forgiveness when they felt Xi Lan shuddered and muttered in horror:”Junior Sister...Sheng? Junior Sister  Sheng, don't run!”

Before Xi Sheng dashed, he saw it again. That kind of countenance before she went on a rampage.

Xi Lan felt a chill on his spine. Every possible reason that caused her to show such facial expression made him terrified.

Junior Sister Sheng, what kind of suffering did you experienced to show that kind of expression?

”What's happening here?!”

Puff! Puff!

Xi Sheng stopped in the middle of the forest.

She wipes her sweats and gasps for air.

It's not enough!

Her eyes swept to the whole trees and find a sturdy looking tree and punch it multiple times.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Why?

Bam! Bam!

Why does her heart feel so much pain?

It's akin to millions of ants crawling to her heart.

When she was called feral, something was triggered inside of her. Memories  flashed but quickly disappeared even before she got a hold of it.

And that memory is too unbearable. She doesn't know what it contains but just remembering its existence already put her being into torture.

She clenched her chest, her neck and hand are obviously bleeding, so why does her heart felt that it was being stabbed multiple times?

Xi Sheng slowly sat under the tree.  She closed her eyes and enforced the breathing technique.

Inhale... Exhale...

Step by step, her turbulent heart became normal.

Any raging thoughts are dissipating.

Xi Sheng opens her eyes. Her amber-coloured eyes are switched back into its lustrous and full of vitality state.

She dusted her clothes and did a stretching.

Xi Sheng took a step forward when she recalled what she did.

Should she just go back and say:'Hey what's up? I'm sorry for what I did earlier. I didn't try to kill you. I just strike your critical points! But hey, you didn't die anyway. So, bye!'

Of course, she can't!

Xi Sheng caressed her temple. She must go back, but she's too guilty to go.

”Sigh. I need to train myself, so these things wouldn't happen again.”

Because of her uncontrollable state, she inflicted internal and external injuries to him.  In the present, she could barely assist in healing his external injuries.

Xi Sheng shakes her head: ”This is better than doing nothing.”

Instead of going back, Xi Sheng explored the forest. Her eyes focused on finding a certain medicinal herb for the recovery of deep wounds.

The said plant usually grows beside a lake. So her first priority is to find a lake existing in this humongous forest.

A sweat trickled in Xi Sheng's face.

Will a day be sufficient in finding the lake? If you're new to the forest, of course, a day isn't enough.

But who was the Xi Sheng of this world?  She became one with the forest since she was a child, finding a lake is easy peasy as one two and three!

Xi Sheng strolled forward and the sunlight caused her to be blind for a moment.

Upon regaining her sense of sight, Xi Sheng was astounded because of the scenery.

It was like a whole new world!
