Xi Sheng was awakened with the aid of a bout of violent shaking.

She opened her eyes and observed herself faced with endless darkness. Warmth packed with the scent of citrus immediately cleared her thoughts. She tried to move her limbs.

To her marvel, she noticed that her hands have been firmly tied by means of chain, as well as her ankles.

Behind her was a smooth wall. She attempted to squish her surroundings, but it become as though the entirety around her was made from spongy cushions.

She doesn't know whether it's day or night however she's certain that she's in the back of a truck with advanced specifications. She centered her senses and little noises had been heard.

The truck sped via a quite noisy surrounding but blocked by the soundproof panels in the partitions.

”Where am I?”

She was drugged by Yu Zhan earlier and expected that she'll be detained somewhere in his domain, however she's sure that being transported like this was out of her expectation.

[Side Mission triggered: You were drugged by your lover. He chained you down in his basement and decided that you will both spend the rest of your lives together. Suddenly he was shot in his head, rendering him immobile and unconscious. Bunch of unidentified men rushed to your unconscious body and put you in a rather cozy and high-end truck. The truck's destination is North Z Mental Asylum.]

Xi Sheng gritted her teeth:”System come out.”

008:”The System Introduction wasn't completed because you are nonetheless a tester. When you have completed this supplementary task, the entire system guide will explain the whole situation. However for now... Heh good luck.”

Xi Sheng massaged her ringing temple and stabilised her weakened frame.

”Now that you mention it, the blacken trajectory absolutely states that Yu Zhan delivered her to the mental asylum and then go crazy, but how come...” it is different from the real situation?

Meanwhile, the truck slows down and silently came into halt. Her muscles all have become stressful and her senses had been heightened in numerous folds as her survival intuition kicks in.

The trunk was slowly being opened and the light outside glared at her. She closed her eyes for a second and slowly opened her eyes after getting used to the brightness. She saw that there are two silhouette in front of her.

The space she's lying to is truly cushions. All of it are cushions!

The two people clad in black are slowly coming near her; she noticed guns and knives hidden in their clothes. Her first response was to seize them and use it as a self-defense, however while she noticed the smiling faces of the two people, her knees soften.

Xi Sheng flinched:”I dare say that those are patients.”

008:”How did you know?”

Xi Sheng:”They fucking give me the creeps.”

008:”You're not going to retaliate and secretly investigate this location?”

They approach Xi Sheng and unchained her. They tied her with a tender but durable fabric.

Xi Sheng:”I'm a gentle and fragile woman, how can I fight those? And its probably not only those two that escorted me here...”

While she exited the truck, about twenty men clad in black encircled her and proceed in walking to their destination.

Xi Sheng:”I told you.”

Xi Sheng entered the asylum, her face became emotionless, she pressed her lips and formed a thin line.

Every patients were imprisoned. They have their own cells to provide their own space and prevent them from riots. Each cell has one bed, a toilet bowl and sink. They were all wearing a standard straitjacket made of leather. There's also a staff guarding each and every cell, inside their clothes were security knives and a taser gun.

The cells were all covered in soft materials to prevent them from banging their head. Their doors were heavy-duty metals, and there's only a small squared window in the door that can fit their head to see outside of their cell.

Overall, the mental asylum looks heavily guarded and safe. But, who knows whether it's really indestructible as it looks?

”Wow! it is a beatiful maiden! Your eyes are really pretty, can I have them?”
