In a blink of an eye, numerous weeks had already passed since Xi Sheng knew the fact that it doesn't matter whether or not Yu Zhan is in the proper mind or not, he'll nevertheless send Xi Sheng within the asylum. Ha-ha, what a sicko.

Tired, Xi Sheng ask:”Is sending a person to a mental asylum a fashion in this world? Do they even recognize the meaning of mental asylum? F*ck, mental asylum is for treating mentally sick patients! And I am not considered one of them!”

System 008 sighs:”... you're aware that telling me something like this might not help you, right?”

Xi Sheng took a bite of a red and velvety apple on her palms. Luscious fruity taste assaulted her buds. Her expressions appeared pleased and elevated.

While she become savoring the taste of the apple, she felt a heated gaze directed on her.

”What?”

Xi Anran can only feel a headache. He looks on a certain spot and notices a perverted gaze aimed to her.

Xi Anran sigh in his heart. How can his sister be this unaware that she's being coveted by those shameless medical doctors?!

Fortunately, the private room of his is sound-proof and heavy metal, so he can thoroughly say what he wants, that shameless doctor can at best see, but cannot hear.

He shook his head and stated:”Nevermind. Anyway, what did you took down several asylums or even charitable groups? You're aware that your boyfriend's circle of relatives is sort of involved in those hospitals right?”

The sweetness in Xi Sheng's mouth all at once turned bitter and sour upon listening to the phrases 'asylum' and 'boyfriend.' Heck, she even wanted to spit the apple chunks in her mouth and ask Xi Anran not to spout those bad words.

Xi Sheng constantly gnaws on the apple as it lost all of its sweetness.

Xi Anran felt that his sister doesn't want to reply his question, so he added dubiously:”Are you purposely doing this because me? You want to break up with him? Or you want to have a fight with him?”

She did not respond right away, but her eyes narrowed as she answers his question:”Oh? Then what about you and your little partner? I thought you are already in a mutual understanding state? Why split then?

Xi Anran knew that Xi Sheng was simply teasing him and had no malice, however the effect of those words are pretty heavy. His potent and courageous brows crumpled and his expression became bitter with a touch of sorrow.

Xi Sheng half-finished the apple, stood up and wears her coat. She messes his thin hair and traces his cheeks and pinches it hard till it produces a sense of blush. It daunted her on how critical Xi Anran's ailment is, and how it consumes his existence and kills him slowly.

Her eyes display incredulity and became crestfallen, but only lasted for a second. Her hand released his cheek upon hearing his screams.

”Don't worry, I can deal with it. Just have a faith in my choice, okay? Rather than worrying about me, why don't you focus in your health and chase the love of your life first? If you don't, you may live in the forever virgin zone.”
