The moment he heard the words “I love you”, Cheng Zhi Chu’s entire body started to shake. Unprecedented joy rose inside him and exploded like gorgeous fireworks. It was like he was in a dream and his body felt like it was floating. Everything felt unreal.

Although he had sensed it before that Bai Yi seemed to like him, but it was only when he heard the words being spoken directly by Bai Yi that he truly believed that they both loved each other.

Bai Yi likes him, and he also likes Bai Yi.

They are in love with each other………

For a moment, Cheng Zhi Chu only had this thought in his mind. His eyes were red, and his body trembled slightly. He was so excited, he was speechless. He could only silently tighten his hug around Bai Yi.

Bai Yi also laid down after turning of the lights. He searched around the bed and then grabbed onto Cheng Zhi Chu’s hand. Gently interlinking their fingers, he rubbed his thumb across Cheng Zhi Chu’s palm.

Cheng Zhi Chu’s cheeks were extremely hot. He tried to pull his hand away but he couldn’t, and he could only use the other hand to button up his pyjamas around his neck.

It was almost torn apart earlier…….

“No need to button it up so tightly. It’ll make breathing difficult.”

As if he could tell what Cheng Zhi Chu was doing, Bai Yi gently advised him. He then laughed gently and said in a slightly hoarse and extremely sexy voice: “I won’t do anything to you anymore…….”

Even the tips of Cheng Zhi Chu’s ears were red. He was originally ashamed and angry but the words that came out from him was soft.

“……….Then you should be true to your words.”

“Yes, I will.”

Bai Yi again gently laughed. He patted the back of his hands and finally released his hold of the hand that was starting to gently sweat. He then sighed thoughtfully: “It must have been hard on Xi Xing these past few years.”

Cheng Zhi Chu instantly understood what Bai Yi was alluding to. He instantly sat up from the bed with a red face. No longer able to withstand it anymore, he pried away the blanket and intended to flee: “I think I should go sleep somewhere else….”

“Zhi Chu, don’t go.”

Bai Yi hugged him from behind and pulled him back in bed: “I was just joking. Don’t be angry.”

“………..I’m not angry.” Cheng Zhi Chu struggled in his arms with a red face, “But you didn’t sound like you were joking!”

“I can’t even think about it?”

Bai Yi’s tone had a faint hint of disappointment. Cheng Zhi Chu couldn’t help but think that he might have overreacted earlier. Recalling what happened earlier, Cheng Zhi Chu’s body felt hot. The more he thought about it, the more he felt that he couldn’t sleep in the same bed with Bai Yi. It was too dangerous and also…….He also couldn’t help but think about it……..

“I think I should leave……..” He couldn’t help but whisper.

“Just sleep here Zhi Chu. I promise I won’t do anything else.” Bai Yi lowered his eyes and said in a small voice, “If I wake up in the morning and I don’t see you, I might think that everything that happened tonight was just a dream and I would be sad.”
