The sound of footsteps came from the stairs. Wang Manli and Lin Yuexian had woken up. The mother and the daughter had come down to hear the sounds coming from the restaurant, so their expressions had clearly changed.

The two of them looked at each other before entering the dining room as well. ”Good morning, Grandfather!” Wang Manli greeted Wang Manli while Old Master Wang looked at her and lightly replied, ”It's getting late.” ”It is already eight o'clock.”

Even an idiot could hear the unhappiness in her voice, Lin Yuexian hurriedly tried to smooth things over, ”Manli didn't sleep well last night, so she got up a little late today.” As she spoke, she swept her eyes across Mo Wan. ”Did the key sleep well last night?”

”Very good, thank you Auntie for your concern.” Mo Wan answered with a smile. Lin Yuexian thought that she would coldly deal with her, and wanted to shift the blame onto her.

Mo Wan's attitude caused Lin Yue Xian to be stunned. When she sat down, she looked at Mrs Liu and met her gaze. Mrs Liu, who had her head lowered this whole time, walked over to stand beside her.

Their interaction was noticed by Mo Wan, and there was a smile in her eyes.

Mrs Liu had been wandering around the restaurant ever since Mo Wan and the old man had dinner. For some reason, Mo Wan could always see the faint red mark on her left cheek. Although the red mark wasn't very clear, one could still tell it was a slap mark.

Mo Wan looked at Mrs Liu with a colder gaze. This old man was left behind by Xu Qingyi, Wang Xi's mother. He should be one of the people who were good to Wang Xi, but the things she did were unorthodox.

If it really was a ”loyal servant”, why didn't she follow and take good care of this young miss when she was kicked out? Even if she had her troubles in the past, now that she just came back, why did Mrs Liu cause trouble before she got back to the Wang family?

However, since someone else had deliberately planned all of this, how could she not give him face? After all, Mrs Liu was an old man who lived in front of Wang's mother, and she, as a young lady, had to be the master of this ”loyal servant.”
