A gust of wind send paper flying in all directions as Barry superspeeds out of the building.
”I don't have time to waste. I have to become stronger ”
”My speed is still not enough ”
He arrives at his house and lies down on his bed.
”But I really don't know how to increase my abilities ”
”The only way to give my powers a boost ia through the speed force ”
”But I'm still too weak to activate it or it might do more harm than good”
”I guess basic training will have to do for now”
”Wait a sec”
”I do have some ways to increase my abilities. Barry's memory does really come in handy.”, he smirks faintly.
He picks up his phone and dials a number. The phone rings for a while, then....
”Hey Cisco”
”Barry, what's up and by the way brilliant plan to prevent a crash earlier”
”Thanks, but...huh... are you.....like free. I need to have a talk with you ”
”Is anything the problem”
”No nothing much. Just need help with electronics and stuff”
”Alright then. You can come by this afternoon”
”Ok. Thanks a lot, bye”
He hangs up the phone and before he could set it down. It rings... He checks the caller ID....
”Iris?”
He picks up the call...
”Hi Iris How're you doing,”He said
”Doing great Barry. I'm at your office or rather, 'your lab',but I can't find you, Where are you? ”Iris asked.
”I'm home. I'll be there soon ”
”Alright ”
