Chapter 4 - WEATHER WIZARD (1) (1/2)

He arrives at the location Joe gave to him. The entire area has been barricaded by the Police.

When Joe saw that he has arrived, he went over to him, ” Bank robbery. The witness said they saw a man who could control the weather ”

( Well nothing surprises me anymore since I kinda know the ins and outs of this world) Barry thought.

” We have a sketch artist working with the witnesses right now” Joe added. We just have to wait for the sketch to be completed.

After a couple of minutes, an officer comes around with a sketch-pad in his arms as he stretches his hands, beckoning to Joe to have a look.

Joe collects the pad and gazes at it. Then suddenly shock filled his eyes.

” What is it Joe ”, Barry asked, concerned.

” Take a look at the image”, Joe said and passed the pad to Barry.

” Clyde Mardon? I thought he died during the particle accelerator accident many months ago” Barry asked.

” It must have a mistake. Maybe they were so shocked that they couldn't properly recognize him”, Joe said.

” That's also a probability ”, Barry sighed

( Although I know that Clyde didn't really die. Trying to convince Joe might arouse suspicion.) he thought.

As Barry was walking down the street, all of a sudden, the atmosphere turns misty with visibility nearing zero. Then he saw Clyde driving a car, stealing a glance at him.

He had the impulse to go after him but he managed to restrain himself because he remembered that if he makes a rash decision someone might lose his life.

Instead of chasing him. chasing him, he decides to save the motorists from the accident that might start occurring soon.

Amidst all the commotion he was still able to brain storm and just a period of one second passed.

As the first car was about to collide, at the speed of sound, he took all the the passenger out. This continues for a minute until the fog clears.....
