One look from him really made Xia Lan feel a lot more at ease.

A lot of business and matters that were difficult to deal with had been negotiated at the wine table. This seemed to have become a common practice.

Gu Xi Jue was satisfied with her attire. It was better than wearing a dress, as his long white legs were covered by it.

He asked others for help, but he couldn't get angry on the spot, so his conservative appearance was the most suitable.

The two of them headed towards a local restaurant. By the time they arrived, the other party was already there.

The leader of the team who was present brought along a few of his staff. They were all in charge of his projects and did not seem to have any airs of arrogance. They appeared to be very amiable.

But Gu Xi Jue knew that they were only appearances, how could they be so easy to talk about.
