Jun Xiyan knew that Qingqing had always been intelligent as a child, but she was still only just a little girl. She should have a simple and happy life.

She shouldn’t have to carry the burden of the family and their country.

In the deep of the night, the cold wind howled as a limousine came to a slow stop at the pier. The back door opened. Zhu Qing bent and picked up the unconscious Jun Xiqing.

“Zhu Qing, leave with Qingqing immediately. I’ll leave Qingqing to you in the future. You must make sure she lives a happy life,” Jun Xiyan and Jun Xiling instructed in a low voice.

Zhu Qing looked down at Jun Xiqing who was in his arms. There was a veil over her head and her entire body was wrapped in a big black cloak as she slumbered.

“Big Sis, Second Sis, leave with us. Lei Ze seems to have changed into an entirely new person lately. He’s been swift and aggressive and will soon send someone to capture you.”

Jun Xiyan had been shocked by the change in Lei Ze as well. “There must be someone else behind Lei Ze. That person is the most dangerous one.”

With that, Jun Xiling looked toward Zhu Qing and said, “All the more that we can’t leave because of this. We’ll stay to buy you two some time, so leave as soon as you can.”

“That’s right,” Jun Xiling said as she nodded. “We will not leave. We are the daughters of the Jun Family. We’ve already failed to protect Country Z for our uncle and father, so how can we possibly leave now?”

“Big Sis, Second Sis…”

“That’s enough. Indecision will only lead to trouble. Zhu Qing, leave now!” Jun Xiyan urged.

Zhu Qing nodded. “Alright, I’ll leave with Qingqing then. Take care.” Turning around with Jun Xiqing in his arms, Zhu Qing was ready to get on the boat.

At this moment, they heard the sound of footsteps approaching. A troop of royal guards ran over and surrounded the entire pier.

Lei Ze let out a loud laugh. “President Zhu, the ladies of the Jun Family, where are you planning on going?”

Jun Xiyan’s pupils contracted. She hadn’t expected Lei Ze to be this quick.

“Come, someone bring the third daughter of the Jun Family over.”

“Don’t touch my sister!”

Jun Xiyan wanted to go over, but a black muzzle was pressed against her head.

A royal guard carried Jun Xiqing away.

“Where are you bringing Qingqing?”

As soon as the words were out of her mouth, a bullet-proof car appeared slowly within their sights and stopped near them.

The night breeze was cold. The cold light reflecting off the limousine made it look as though an emperor had arrived. No one could see into the closed black windows, making the car seem mysterious and respectable.

Who was it?

Lei Ze walked over and opened the door personally. The royal guard handed Jun Xiqing over to the man in the car.

Jun Xiyan couldn’t see the inside clearly, she could only see a small corner. There was a pair of shiny black leather shoes and above that was a pair of sharp black trousers. Whoever the man was, he seemed respectable and mysterious.

The back door closed and the bullet-proof car left.

They took Jun Xiqing away!

Jun Xiyan clenched her teeth and screamed loudly, “West Duke, since you’re already here, why not show your face?”

The bullet-proof car came to a halt slowly in front of Jun Xiyan. The back window rolled down and a handsome face appeared. The lights on the pier shone onto his perfect figure through the windows. He really was handsome beyond belief.

It was the West Duke, Lu Yeming.

Jun Xiyan smiled coldly. “West Duke, it’s you after all. You’ve been collaborating with Lei Ze for a really long time. Tell me, did you have anything to do with my brother’s disappearance?

“West Duke, you’re really a despicable person. My uncle and your mother had feelings for each other, yet you joined hands with Lei Ze to destroy the Jun Family!” Jun Xiling spat out angrily.

Lu Yeming tilted his head and his gaze landed on the two of them on the ground. His lips curved up slowly, nonchalantly. “You know what I want, but you keep hiding and evading me, not letting me touch her.”
