Gu Mohan looked beside him. It was Feng Lingxue.

The car was silent and Gu Mohan's face was hidden in the dim lighting. He gave a wan smile and said, ”Miss Feng, the North Duke sent you and Feng Lihen here this time. Feng Lihen is planning to marry the biological sister of the West Duke, Lu Yeming, who happens to Tang Mo'er, my wife.

”You on the other hand, are going to become the new Mrs Gu after my divorce. Old Master Feng is indeed experienced and manipulative. He has everything planned out, from the profit motivated marriage with the West Duke to making use of my wealth and resources. Am I right about that?”

Feng Lingxue nodded. ”You're right.”

”How are you going to make me trust you then? How am I supposed to believe that you're going to betray your father and elder brother and stand on my side?”

Feng Lingxue looked at Gu Mohan, his gaze was sharp and piercing, just like an x-ray that could pass through her. In response, Feng Lingxue didn't have much of an expression, she looked at him with composure. ”President Gu, do you know my identity?”

Gu Mohan raised his brows. ”You're the illegitimate daughter of the Feng family. You were sold to Ah Jiao's Room since young, the place built to seduce men. You were self-motivated, becoming the top social escort at the age of 12, mesmerizing tons of influential men with your seductive charms. They were all willing to splurge on you so willingly.”

”Have I managed to mesmerize President Gu yet?” Feng Lingxue asked.

Gu Mohan forced out a laugh. ”I'm sorry, the only person I will love in this lifetime is my wife.”

”Look, I haven't managed to seduce you and make you fall for me yet, it's destined that I can't accomplish my mission,” Feng Lihen looked out of the window as she said, ”I'm not as lucky as Mrs Gu.
