1019 Nothing Compares to You 1 (1/2)

An'an sat on the long bench at the bus stop. She stretched her icy-cold hand out and touched her abdomen. Little Yan, are you like Mom, you can't go on too?

In the past, she would anticipate every dawn, but in the future she would be fearful of every daybreak.

A world without Ah Yan was a world without colors.

An'an curved her lips slightly and gradually looked up.

A bus drove past her before her eyes, and that was when she saw the tall and muscular figure on the opposite road. Her long lashes quivered immediately and her eyes narrowed.

What did she just see?

Was she dreaming?

The person that she had been missing day and night was standing on the road opposite her.

An'an rose immediately and her dress billowed in the chilly winter wind.

Time seemed to have slowed down. Her eyes were filled with that familiar figure.

If this was a dream, she would rather not wake up.

Big droplets of tears cascaded down her face and she smiled amidst her tears. She looked like a fool with her half-crying and half-smiling look.

Lu Yan was waiting for the bus opposite.

He was wearing a gray shirt and black trousers, with the ends of the trousers tucked into black boots. He looked as handsome and muscular as before.

He had not shaved for a very long and his entire face was covered with stubble. His sharp brown eyes swept the buses, but the bus that he was waiting for did not arrive. He pursed his lips in displeasure.

At this moment, a slender and pretty figure suddenly appeared in the corner of his eyes and he looked up. On the road opposite him, there was a girl in a long dress and she looked like a freshly bloomed lotus.

An'an.

Thud! The parcel in his hand fell onto the ground.

F**k!

The muscles beneath his gray shirt were all bulked up and as hard as a steel wall. He stared intensely at that figure. With that one gaze, he seemed to assimilate her into his flesh and blood.

In the next second, he started walking towards her.

The piercing sound of the horn beeping was heard and the cars were forced to stop. A driver rolled down the car window. ”Oi, you have a death wish?!”

Lu Yan glanced sideways and stared balefully at the driver. The driver quivered in fear and immediately retreated into his car. This man could not be trifled with.

”My God, look, that seems to be General Lu!”

”Yes, it's really General Lu!”

”That's wonderful, General Lu is back, General Lu is back home!”…

All the cars came to a stop and the bustling street was quieter. Everyone was looking.

The screeching sound of the car braking ensued. Li Si stopped the car immediately and rubbed his eyes. ”Scissors, who's that in front?

Scissors took a look out of the window. ”It's… it's General! It's really General!”

Li Si's tears fell. The typically refined Li Si uttered a vulgarity. ”F*ck! I knew that Yan Zi would survive!”

Lu Yan crossed the road with steady footsteps and stopped in front of An'an.

He sized her up and pursed his lips in displeasure. She had become thinner! Her small face was filled with tears and he frowned deeply. ”Stop crying, I'm still alive!”

An'an did not listen to him and continued to cry.

This disobedient little thing!

Lu Yan raised his brows and berated in a deep voice, ”What are you still idling there for?”

Thinking that she might not comprehend, he added, ”Come here!”
