Bai Feifei had never imagined that she would have the opportunity to interact with a big shot like Gu Mohan.

She stole another glance at Gu Mohan. The tall and handsome man was standing in the living room. He was wearing a tailored white shirt and a pair of black trousers with a black leather belt around his waist. From head to toe, he was impeccable, his clothes were ironed perfectly without any creases, which revealed his high societal status. The dazzling lights illuminated his handsome and chiseled features which were so refined that one could hardly look away.

He was carrying Little Munchkin in one arm. The outline of his handsome shoulder formed a straight line with his strong arm, and he exuded the very image of masculinity.

This was the President of C.T Corporation, who was the top tycoon in Capital.

Bai Feifei's pretty face blushed and her heart thumped in anticipation.

At this juncture, Huo Yanmei spoke up. ”Dinner is ready. Mohan, Miss Bai, let's have dinner together.”

Bai Feifei was arranged to sit opposite Gu Mohan. In moments, she transformed from a conceited rich lady to a demure and gentle one.

”Miss Bai, what are you working as now?” Old Master Gu asked.

Bai Feifei's voice became much gentler. ”Old Master, I'm now filming a show, which is 'The Concubine' and invested by Cathay Entertainment. I'm taking on the role as the female lead.”

”Cathay Entertainment?” Old Master Gu looked at Gu Mohan. ”Mohan, isn't Cathay Entertainment your subsidiary company? I think you should pay more attention to Miss Bai.”

Upon Old Master Gu's words, Bai Feifei swiftly stole a glance at the man opposite and anticipated his reply.

Again, Gu Mohan's face was devoid of any expression. Instead of responding, he peeled a prawn and placed it into Little Munchkin's bowl. ”Niuniu, eat the prawn.”

Little Munchkin knew that this was a gathering for the adults, and thus he ate his prawn quietly and obediently.

Bai Feifei's face froze. Gu Mohan did not even acknowledge her.

The man's attention was focused entirely on his son.

The tension was a little awkward. It was evident that Gu Mohan had little to no interest and did not even want to partake in the conversation.

He was extremely cold towards Bai Feifei.

In fact, he had not looked at Bai Feifei in the eye since she walked through the door.

At this moment, Old Master Gu glanced at Huo Yanmei. Huo Yanmei promptly smiled and said, ”Mohan, let me take care of Yelin. You chat more with Miss Bai. Don't expend all your energy on Yelin. What is most crucial for you to do now is to find a Mom for Yelin…”

Huo Yanmei had not even completed her sentence when Gu Mohan threw his fork onto the dining table.

There was an ear-piercing screech as the fork landed on the dining table.

Everyones' expressions changed.

The sleeves on the man's white shirt were rolled up, which revealed the luxury watch on his muscular wrist. Even the watch seemed to gleam coldly under the lights. Gu Mohan raised his handsome face and looked at Huo Yanmei seriously.

When she saw the look on his face, Huo Yanmei blanched.

If possible, the tension in the dining hall became oppressive. Little Munchkin climbed down from his chair and said in a childish voice, ”Daddy, may I go to the washroom?”

Gu Mohan caressed Little Munchkin's head. ”Go.”

Little Munchkin left.

After Little Munchkin had left, Gu Mohan looked at Huo Yanmei frostily. There was no inflection in his low voice, but it exuded an underlying hint of intimidation. ”I don't want you to mention about such things in front of Niuniu again.”

Huo Yanmei wanted to speak. ”Mohan, I…”

Gu Mohan stood up immediately. ”You can all continue with the meal. I'll take my leave.”
