An'an looked at him, asking with her tender voice. ”Do you want to have kids?”

Lu Yan's hand was clenched into a fist in his pocket, how is he supposed to answer her?

Yes.

Yes, he wanted to have kids.

He really wasn't young anymore, he wanted his own child.

It wasn't entirely because of his age, he wasn't really planning on having kids before he met her but things were different after An'an appeared in his life. It was because it was her that he wanted to have children. It was so she could give birth to their children, not because of his age that he wanted to settle down.

Lu Yan looked at her youthful face, she was still young, only 18 years old, how was she going to be able to give birth to his child?

He shook his head. ”No, I don't want kids.”

”Oh.” An'an lowered her head silently, finishing the bowl of chinese medicine in her hands in an entire gulp. ”I'll be heading back tomorrow,” she said in a barely audible voice.

Lu Yan slumped against the wall, merely replying with a 'hm'.

”When are you going back? Are you still… going back to jail after you return to the Capital?”

He was sentenced to a two year term, she didn't know why he was in Miaojiang, but he was supposed to be serving his jail sentence.

”Yes.”

He would be going back to jail.

An'an lowered her lashes, replying with another soft 'oh'.

Lu Yan glanced at her, looking at her shoulder and his gaze started traveling around her body. It was this body of hers that satisfied him so much last night, her skin was smooth and her body was so soft it was almost like she didn't have any bones.

She sat there, appearing somewhat innocent and pitiful. She wasn't doing anything special to attract his attention, but he felt as though his heart was held in her grasp, he wanted to just go over and dote on her.

”Do you not want me to go back to jail?” he continued.

An'an lowered her head, looking at her skirt. ”Of course, but it's not like you don't have to go back if I wished for you to not go back.”

Hearing her words, Lu Yan raised his brows and his eyes crinkled into a faint smile.

A melodious ringtone sounded, Tang Mo'er had received an incoming phone call.

Taking out her cell phone, she realized that it was a phone call from Tang Hai.

She had cut off all contact with Tang Hai since a long time ago, since the entire incident with Lu Qi'er had totally affected their father-daughter relationship.

Why was Tang Hai phoning her?

She pressed on the screen to answer the call. ”Hello.”

”Hello, Mo'er.” Tang Hai sounded frantic and panicky. ”Bad news, something bad has happened to your younger brother!”

Tang Mo'er was extremely close with Tang Chenyi, she had truly treated him as her biological brother.

”Chenyi has gone missing!”

”Speak slower, tell me clearly what happened.”

”Su Yan went to pick Chenyi up after school but they are still not back yet. It's already so late now, I've called the school to ask about Chenyi, they told me that Chenyi hadn't even come to school today. I've already sent people to look around Karghalik, there's still no news of Chenyi. Su Yan and Chenyi have gone missing together!”

Su Yan and Tang Chenyi had both gone missing?

”Have they been kidnapped?”
